I was expecting quality yoga after reading the previous reviews. Just moved to miami beach from NYC and am accostomed to traditional, vigorous classes. The studio is heated (very hot) and i went to a class taught by Silvina. She is friendly but doesn't seem to have the traditional experience and quality I am used to. Can someone recommend a studio in Bal Harbour or Miami Beach with better teaching?

Friends & Family,
Yoga has been a part of my life since I lived in Montreal, practiced on my livingroom floor and then afterwards when it became popular at the YMCA where I was a member. Once I moved to Miami, I need a place to continue releasing energy and enjoying the freedom and movement of my entire body. Yoga Shala has been present in all the ways possible. Water is available for purchase, donations are made to studio if you are not a member, schedules adhere to everyone's schedule, not only the nine to fivers..the teachers are also exceptional, and Fred is grounded!

The studio is located in Miami Beach close to tons of parking space, which makes it so easy! It's big, spacious, love the lighting, it gets you energized.
They have a great variety of classes and hours, and you can also find Yogashala studios in Brickell and Sunny Isles. I usually go to the Sunny Isles, I love it! Great place, awesome people!

Definitely the best Yoga studios in Miami. Miami Yogashala and Brickell Yogashala are both awesome. They both teach Power Yoga and all the teachers are great. Fred Busch is a great teacher for sure!

Even though Miami Yoga Shala is known for Fred and Paul's great Power Yoga classes, there is a little known gem there are well.

Ganesha and Alex teach Kundalini Yoga at Miami Yoga Shala almost everyday. Kundalini Yoga is a little different than your typical hatha yoga class. Kundalini Yoga mixes yoga postures, meditations, mudras, and mantras into an incredible journey into your body and soul. I would suggest that anyone try it. Whether you are an experienced yogi or a beginner, both Ganesha and Alex will lead you on an incredible journey!

I really love their classes and try to go as much as possible.
