II just want to let everyone know how bad this office's customer service is, how inadequate the doctors are, how they damaged my contact lens and how they try to get away with fraudulent billing practices.

I went to this office on Saturday, February 4, 2012. Not only did I wait 3.5 hours to see the doctor, the staff never came by to say anything like "The doctor has an emergency" or "We apologize for the inconvenience". They just packed us all in the office like cattle and said nothing. I had to keep asking when the doctor would see me. When the doctor finally strolled into the office (I didn't even know he was out of the office, I thought he was seeing patients in the back) he was on his cell phone laughing. Imagine a doctor laughing while he has patients waiting for hours! Did he not get the memo that patients are the ones who pay his bills? That we are his customers?

I was finally escorted into the hall outside the exam room at hour 2 along with 6 other people (with an additional 7 people waiting in the main waiting room) and the doctor started dropping a solution in my eyes and the other 6 people who were waiting outside the exam room. From there, it was another 1.5 hours before he saw me.

Once he finally got to me, he examined my eyes, looked at my contacts and then proceeded to place my right hard contact lens back in my right eye. The contact was hurting my eye badly. He tried two more times with no success. He examined my eyes again and said "You have an ulcer". Really? I thought it was strange that, all of a sudden, after he couldn't get the lens to stay in my eye, that I had an ulcer.

He dropped some drops in my eyes and prescribed medication for me, indicated that I would have to come back for another exam on Tuesday. I then proceeded to the front desk and his assistant told me my insurance didn't cover the services and I had to pay out of pocket plus pay for my next exam.

I found out later, from my insurance company they double billed the insurance - this is after they tried to charge me!

Long story short - I went to another, more reputable, eye doctor and he examined my right lens and said it was cracked and that hard lenses don't just crack on their own and that something happened to it. He told me that I have two abrasions on my right eye now and it could be from the fact that the lens was cracked and the doctor tried to put the cracked lens in my eye multiple times.

This makes me wonder - how did my lens get cracked? It wasn't cracked prior to me seeing this doctor!

As a result, I have had to go to work all week (and probably next week) wearing one lens which is very awkward and gives me constant headaches.

Please don't go to this doctor!
