.

We purchased a house, which was going through probate, with this attorney. He has a beautiful office and is very professional. He was working for the seller, but went out of his way to make our part of the deal easy. I highly recommend him, if you need an estate attorney.

I love his Rolls Royce car too.

PROS: Really professional service.
CONS: None.

Message from Stewart Jr, N John - N John Stewart Jr Pa

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up for the poor and helpless, for the rights of all the unfortunate, and see that they get justice." Proverbs 31:8

Communication:

Most people understand that the legislature creates laws which govern our daily lives. For the most part, society follows the law. However, courts are interpreting those laws every minute of everyday; creating a body of case law (precedent). Knowing how courts are interpreting the law is critical. We do the research necessary to know how courts are deciding cases similar to your case. There is no substitute for knowing the law relevant to your issue. Knowledge of the law is critical to determining what the most likely outcome would be.

In regard to your emotional well being, we understand the issues involved with accidents, injuries, including the frustration that comes along with being involved in litigation. There is confusion, fear, and anxiety. We understand the need to make things clear and precise. Though no one can predict the future, we take pride in being right more often than not.

Achieving The Best Outcome:

When discussing a potential settlement, we often hear clients say that they are not trying to "get rich," or "be greedy." Greed may not be the basis for your demand, but there are a number of factors to be aware of. If you are considering settling, you are welcome to contact our office for a free consultation. Alternatively, if you are being sued, or anticipate that you will be, the offer to discuss the circumstances with you for free stands. We will candidly answer your questions to the best of our ability and there is no obligation for you to hire us as your counsel. Essentially, there is no reason to avoid putting yourself in the best position possible through obtaining as much information as you can gather. Be aware of the fact that unless you work in the insurance industry, you're not as informed as the attorney or claims adjuster you're dealing with. If you're concerned about liability, the liability of your business, or your company, there may be options for resolution, or defenses to the action, you're simply not aware of. Our job is to provide you with information and advice. Don't walk into a situation blindfolded when we can light the way.

We wouldn't litigate if we didn't enjoy the courtroom:

Would you want your case in the hands of a lawyer unwilling, or afraid of the court room? It would be like going to see a surgeon afraid to operate. Not everyone who goes to law school is comfortable in court. Among those who are, significant differences exist in terms of how effective or influential they are. Though we are certainly capable of trying your case, you must keep in mind that going to trial may not be in your best interest. It is generally understood that going to trial involves risk. Essentially, the outcome of your case is in the hands of a judge or jury. As a case proceeds from the initial filing of a complaint or petition, the discovery phase begins. Prior to the trial date, opportunities to resolve the dispute through mediation exist. Reaching resolution without court intervention means that you maintain control over the outcome. You may have the best set of facts to present to a Judge. If so, you're probably going to prevail. However, when a case is tried, two parties enter a court room expecting to prevail; one doesn't. There are no ties when a case is tried.

Besides risk, a major consideration is the cost involved in going to trial. In representing both individuals and businesses, we take all measures to keep costs at a minimum. We have worked with clients in terms of representation on a contingency basis and hourly retainer. If your case is not one in which we can provide representation on a contingency basis, we are willing to discuss payment options that work for you.
