It is a very nice dealership with courteous people. They have access to a convenient test track facility that allows you to explore some vehicle handling aspects that cannot be checked in normal city traffic. Brad Waite, our sales consultant, was very helpful and always available to answer our questions. The negotiations were fair and we were under no pressure to make a purchase before we felt comfortable with our choice. We would like to thank Continental Mazda of Naperville Sales Department for the positive buying experience. Hope that their Service Department and our new CX-7 will be as good to us.

Scheduled and appointment, telling them I intended to wait. Arrived on time, told to leave the car and they will call. Didn't hear from them so I called at 5:00 PM only to be told that they didn't know what the cause of the problem was, could be a bad right front wheel bearing, could be that the wheels need to be replaced, could be the left front wheel bearing...not exactly instilling confidence in their ability to diagnoses let alone repair one of their vehicles. I told them I was coming in. When I arrived I talked with the Service Manager, when I explained what I was told on the phone he became belligerent and defensive, saying that he talked to me and that he told me exactly what was wrong with the vehicle (he in fact did not and only suggested a string of projects that could have easily added to over a thousand dollars). When I reminded him that he also told me that I might need new wheels he said that yes they were wobbly when they looked at them, I asked if he had spun tested any of the wheels to rule out a simple balancing or a bad wheel (versus a $500 bearing replacement) and he said no. I then told him that after this exchange I just didn??t have any confidence in his service department. He then spent 10 minutes writing up a work order, and looking up service codes to generate a bill. I am sure this is more time then they spent actually looking at the car.
The service charge of $69.95, (Code 500D) was supposedly for a suspension diagnosis. This is supposed to include the following: Check shocks and/or struts, suspension components, wheel bearings, steering linkage and road test. Based on what they told me and their level of confidence in their diagnosis I doubt they did anything but drive the car into the service bay.
I expressed my displeasure to the Facitlity Manager on duty (Ed) and while he was polite he only referred me back to the Service Manager.
Net-Net, wasted appointment, wasted half a day, car not fixed, charged $69.95 for the service manager to write up what we already knew and told him was wrong with the car. MY ADVICE?Zoom-Zoom Out of Here and DON??T GO BACK!

Buying a new car...from the moment we walked in the staff was approachable upfront an honest. There was no secret negotiaion room with a secret handshake. Jessi our salesman, the finance person, and the legal person all made our car buying experience one that made the buyer feel empowered and in control. There were no hidden fees or secrets. I live in Chicago and we are seriously considering driving to Naperville for service because of the amazing staff and unbeatable experience we had!

While I did not buy my mazda at Continental Mazda I get it serviced there. While I never enjoy having to bring my car in to get serviced from a financial standpoint I know that Continental Mazda will take care of everything in a timely and cost effective manner. Ever since the first time I was in I have been on a first name business with Jeremy who runs the service desk at the garage. He knows my name, my car, and always gives me great service while I am there. I never think twice about the service at Continental nor the repair. I know I am in good hands when I am there.
