.

This is supposed to be a German restaurant.

We arrived at 12:00 for lunch to find they were still serving breakfast. We asked for a lunch menu and were told they really didn??t do lunch but someone hand us dinner menus which listed German fare.

$20 for was more that I was willing to spend just for one lunch at a dirty little hole in the wall place (floors were covered in food droppings) so we ordered a sampler dish off the dinner menu. The waitress told us she couldn??t do that and demanded to know how we ended up with a dinner menu. We explained we??d asked for a lunch menu and this is what we were given. She snatched the dinner menu away and returned with a lunch menu shouting we should, "NEVER HAVE BEEN GIVEN THAT MENU!!!!!" There was NO German food on the lunch menu, just sandwiches. So maybe if the ham and cheese sandwich speaks German it might qualify but basically American food.

The waitress had a horrible argumentative attitude so we settled on breakfast (American) fare. It was overpriced for what we got, small portions, no garnish, just food thrown on a plate.

We tried to tell the waitress that we were disappointed that there was no German food and she copped a MAJOR attitude. She ranted about how we ??could??ve? had a sausage with our breakfast(!!!) but she completely missed the point that 1) we were trying to explain that it was disappointing not to have German food at a German restaurant, and 2) we weren??t talking about having a breakfast sausage, we were talking about a menu that might include a few German dishes. She only wanted to argue. After a while it was almost humorous because none of us were arguing with her but sitting silently. She couldn??t have cared less about calm, positive feedback or addressing the issue at hand, she just wanted to prove she was the boss.

Overall a disappointing experience and with so many other restaurants in the area from which to choose Regina??s won??t be on our list of place to return.
