Salon Ori

I have been a client of Michelle's for some time and followed her to Salon Ori. She is an exceptionally talented colorist who takes great care and pride in her work. She always delivers fantastic results and I highly recommend her because she cares about her clients and always listens to her clients needs and follows through with beautiful results. Her services are reasonable in price which is another plus!

I followed my stylist everywhere so of course I love her! But the salon is great too! You will not be disappointed!

Salon Ori is located in St Paul. I don't know how close that is to you but it's worth the drive! Jen and Amber Jean, the two owners, have made the Salon an inviting place to get a quality service.

If you are one of those snooty people who likes to feel like your stylists are looking down on you and probably talking about you behind your back, this is NOT the place for you. If you want great service from genuine, experienced stylists, Salon Ori won't disappoint.

*HUGE PLUS: I have EXTREMELY curly hair and am always about someone ruining it, but Jen has not failed me on trimming up my curls to look beautiful and shiny, and suggest the best products for my curls.

Nothing says spring like a new hair cut. I'm not one of those people really into my hair, so I never really know what to tell the stylist when I go to get a hair cut. That tends to freak many stylist out, but Shannon wasn't freaked out in the least, she just made a couple of suggestion and with my approval and her energetic mood, winter was vanquished and I felt like spring was in my hair. Thanks Shannon.

followed her to wherever she has a chair. She seems
happy at Salon Ori and I think it is a good fit for her.

Michelle has been doing my hair for years and I couldn't imagine letting anyone else treat my hair. She is not just professional and great at her work she is a genuine person; I enjoy our conversations during our visits. Salon Ori is a very cute salon with a soothing atmosphere. I've been going to Jen for a few years now . Not only does my hair always look great but I enjoy my chats with her each visit! She gives honest recommendations which I greatly appreciate - I wouldn't want her to do something to my hair on my request if she knows it won't look good or how I envision it might look.

I have recommended to friends in the past and will do so again!

Michelle is the best color tech in MN! She does a great job helping you select the color that's right for you and talking you through the steps to care for it! I also LOVE the shop and it's warm feel:)

Amber Jean is a joy to see every six weeks. She takes the time to listen, gives great advice, and makes me feel great when I leave.

I've been going to Michelle for color for many years, and was most happy to "follow" her to Salon Ori. It is a beautiful, welcoming salon, and the pricing is without pretension! Michelle is remarkably skilled, knowledgeable and professional, and this is characteristic of all staff at Salon Ori!

I have been going to Jen for almost 3 years and have been happy with every haircut and color she has done for me. She has great ideas and suggestions but always pays attention to her client's needs. I drive across town to see her but it is well worth it.

The new salon is great - very bright and inviting. They have done a fabulous job with the space. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment!

Jen always gives me a cut that I love and takes the time to show me great ways to style it. She really pays attention to the details.

I too moved with Michelle to Salon Ori. Love what she does to my hair and really cares about her customers. Looking forward to getting a cut there too because I am hearing good things.
Love the vibe- eclectic mix of vintage and modern with great art on the walls from local artists to check out while the hair is setting. Didn't mind the biscotti and coffee either!

Michelle has been taking amazing care of my hair for several years. I would simply not trust my hair relaxer to anyone; Michelle takes great care in using the best products and doing what is best for my hair. I recommend Michelle to everyone and am thrilled to see her in Salon Ori.

Great salon, people, prices, etc.! Michelle has been doing my hair for years, and I wouldn't trust anyone else for a straightening! She has many years of experience, and I always get great lasting results.

I'd follow Michelle Atlas anywhere and making the switch to Salon Ori was easy! Michelle is the only person I trust with my hair treatments. Since I am bi-racial, it's challenging to find a stylist who understands both black and white hair...and bi-racial hair! Michelle rocks and I recommend her to anyone.

I have been getting my hair done by the fabulous AmberJean for almost 2 years. I feel so comfortable with her that most of the time I tell her to go at it and do what she thinks would look best and I am always super excited about the look! I also carry her cards with me because so many people compliment me on my hair and wonder where I go.
The salon is really beautiful and spacious. They offer drinks and treats in the waiting area. I loved sipping on my hot cocoa as I was getting my hair done one cold wintry day.
Everyone at Salon Ori does an amazing job, by far my favorite salon I've ever been to.

It is important to them to have you walk out the door, loving your hair cut & style!

I could go on and on and on - I just don't ever want to hear they are moving more that 150 miles from me!!!

I've never received a bad cut and always am relaxed and at ease during my appointments. My sylist listens to me and gives me a cut that is exactly what I want. Somehow here cuts grow out more gracefully than any others I've had.

Jen cut my thick longish hair and she did an awesome job. She fixed a spot another stylist had bungled, and I got tons of compliments. I was so pleased to have some much appreciated "easy hair that works" weeks after her work. Thanks Jen!

My Stylist at Salon Ori worked with me to deliver EXACTLY what I wanted! She took the time to discuss my desired look and even threw in some welcome ideas that I hadn't considered. Everything- from the Salon's interior design, to my hair coloring, to the final styling- was perfect. Very highly recommended!
