In my experience with a few different projects of varying difficulty, the staff is helpful, knowledgeable and honest. RSI tends to be more expensive than Lowes and Home Depot, however, the quality of kitchen or bath one gets, is also much better over all. My very small bathroom project which was very in-expensive worked out very well. My medium kitchen project of medium complexity worked out very well and on budget, and my very complex master bathroom project worked out very well and is the envy of my family and friends. Although currently out of kitchens and bathrooms that need remodeled, I look forward to doing more business here in the future and appreciate how much effort and time the staff puts into the design, planning and execution of projects.

The delivery guys put boxes in a wet garage-they didn't bother speaking with the contractors who were present at the time.

Extremely rude staff, very disappointing. Please don't do any business with this place. They are rude and don't give you any help and attention unless you are willing to spend a big chunk of money. Worthless and bad business.

I agree with the other reviews that RSI has VERY RUDE and AWFUL service. My husband and I have recently made several trips in to look at kitchen appliances and consistently we are ignored. Upon enterring the place, the lady at the desk doesn't even look up to greet you! If she does happen to look your way, she gives you a dirty look then continues to ignore you. Most of the other employees are no different! There is one exception though, and her name is Emily Kelly. She has been the ONLY employee who has smiled and helped us. She approached us on our last visit immediately with a smile and offered to help us. She was so informative and spent a great deal of time with us. If it had not been for Emily, we would NEVER have decided to purchase here. RSI really needs to get new employees who realize that it is ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Have Emily train the other employees!

It's so sad that in this day and age and economy RSI doesn't understand that this behavior not only hurts their image and reputation but also gives St.Louis a bad name. Maybe they should relocate? We don't need that here.

I work for a construction company and have been in the construction business for 10 years now and have worked with RSI many times professionally without issue.

I just had a home built and part of my "punchlist" were a couple of damaged cabinets. My builder basically washed their hands of the situation because I closed but told me that I would be dealing with RSI. I didn't think there would be an issue since I've dealt with them in the past. Boy was I wrong. I am now on my 4th un returned phone call. I've left several messages with no response and it's a bad way to do business. I'm going on 3 weeks since I've closed & nothing has been done. After this experience I would not and do not recommend RSI to anyone.

Was told a different colored island was a very poor choice now I am looking to do built-ins in the great rm. @ different island, I went to another kitchen co. they said I really needed to go with RSI because my cabinets would not match their glaze. So I called to schedule a app. and it is going on 2nd week still have not recieved a phone call! I have never recommened them to my friend's and never will.

Had to add a shower to downstairs half-bath for elderly mother. Wife wanted subway tile and RSI had this great over-sized tile with all the accents and crown molding tile to make it look great. RSI even had a great looking wood-grain ceramic tile that makes the tile floor look convincingly like wood. RSI worked with us on the price, and Arlene even rushed over a box of tile one night to help us be ready for the tile guy the next morning. The bathroom is beautiful and we had a great experience.

Jim worked with us personally, and helped us choose the flooring, even though it came from a different company.

I found out later, the Whirlpool Gold fridge we bought, was 50 dollars cheaper than Sears had in their circular.

We're very happy.

Was told to drive slowly when I left as the police will stop speeders, and this is not "the city," and people drive politely in Rock Hill. This review will not let me type everything she said to me. I'm a white, professional woman who just experienced classism at its worst. Will not be visiting Rsi again.

I was promised that my tenants would not be inconvenienced, and the project would be completed in about a week... One cultured marble piece has been mis-cut and mis ordered twice now, and my tenants are pulling their hair out trying to work around RSI's schedule. Bob at RSI has yet to call me on my complaint, instead I am working with one of his contractors. Everyone is very nice at RSI, especially Wendy, but even she seems frustrated at the extremely high quote I was given as well as the construction blunders that keep piling up. My advice is save some money and use another company. I was told by Bob at RSI that using RSI would save me on all of the headaches that come with construction problems... I guess I fell for that line hook line and sinker...

RSI is in a large building and has an extremely large showroom. They offer many different styles and show the prices for each style on the display. They also had a wide variety of price ranges. I was a little disappointed with the lack of help we received from staff.
