Don't stay here. I agree with the previous poster. I too was charged a cleaning fee for an apartment I cleaned thoroughly. They said the dishwasher was dirty. That's interesting because I washed all of my dishes in the sink and put them in there to drip dry. When I moved out I even ran the dishwasher once to make sure it was spotless. I like to leave things better than I find them. Of course I got charged an insane fee to have somebody "clean food out of the dishwasher." I agree also that the walls are as thin as potato chips. There is no insulation in the place. Parts of the parking lot are not lit and border woods where anyone could be waiting. There are huge gaps under the doors and even though I lived on the second floor it was common to see lizards, spiders, and centipedes, crawling around my apartment. Fortunately I didn't see any snakes. I would not be in my apartment for several weeks at a time while I was traveling but I noticed that my water bills never reflected my absence. The dryers did not work when I was there either. They only warmed up my wet clothes no matter how many times I ran them through. I would hang them up to dry but be careful or they will fine you for that. I reported the broken dryers to the staff and was always told they would fix them but they never did. There are other places to live in that area and I highly suggest that you find them. I think somebody mentioned some on highway 80 that looked nice. If you stay there don't be surprised to find them smiling to your face and then stabbing you in the back on move out day.

These apartments are way overpriced. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything said outside or in other units. There is no insulation so your AC or heater runs all of the time. On top of that the heaters will not work when the temp outside drops below freezing. The dryers don't work. You will do better hanging up your clothing inside your bedroom to dry. I mentioned it several times to the property manager and they were never fixed them despite my assurances they would do so. We were billed for water we never used. In fact, when we moved out we did so at the beginning of the month and were still billed for water on the next billing cycle that we couldn't have used since nobody was there to use it. Also be prepared to get taken advantage of on cleaning. We were charged a cleaning fee just to move in. We cleaned the apartment spotlessly when we moved out and then we were charged another cleaning fee because they made up a host of lies about things like the sink being dirty, when in fact they were spotless when we moved out. Of course they will charge the next person to reclean the same things we already cleaned and paid for. There are other apartments in Clinton. I would look on hwy. 80. There are lots of nicer places in that direction toward Jackson that are still a short distance from Mississippi College and still inside Clinton. Don't get taken advantage of like we did. The staff only care about turning a buck and apparently have no problem lying to your face to do it. Oh and there are huge gaps under the doors you can see daylight under. The manager told me that snakes crawl into the apartments sometimes esp when it first starts warming up.

The grounds are nice with pool, gym, playground, sand volleyball court and basketball court and car wash but the apartments themselves are not worth the money you pay. Seriously, how many people really use all those "amenities" that you pay for? Does have a gate that stays locked. The staff can be helpful sometimes but other times they are quite rude.
