Tupelo Honey Cafe first opened its doors in Asheville, NC in 2000. Each location not only continues the legacy of the original restaurant with creative, eclectic, imaginative food, but continues to foster a hometown feel through local art, local charitable outreach, local brews and responsibly sourced ingredients. Considered one of the pioneers of Asheville's farm-to-table movement, we've continued to serve fresh, scratch-made Southern fare and put new twists on old Southern dishes and cocktails. Our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions of the Mountain South: pickling and frying, canning and preserving, and utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations. When we play with our food (and we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious.
