We just went to a birthday party this weekend. This particular Bounce u deserves ONLY 1 star because its service is poor and the staff are NASTY and HORRIBLE. I would give nothing if that is an option. We had went to multiple Bounce U before at different locations for open bounce and birthdays. We even had our son's 3rd birthday at a Bounce U in College Point and they were great. However, this place is the WORST ever. Staffs were rude and totally unfriendly and did not even bother to carry a smile on their faces. The least they can do is be a little enthusiastic and excited with what they are doing but NOPE, not at all!

First of all, the party had 2 attendants. The boy was better than the girl. The girl was yelling at the kids for throwing balls. Come on, there is a bouncer with a lot of balls inside. What do you want them to do with the balls if not throwing them, eat them?? hug them?? They were all just playing with each other. This girl also yelled at my older son for taking a ball from another girl. They were both playing together for the same big ball and she was screaming at my son for taking the ball. Ridiculous! Those balls were not designated for any one particular child and they were both playing at the same time. Why yelled at him!! She could have separated them and told them nicely. He was crying because of that. My husband had to end up going in the bouncer to play with him and calm him down. Come on he is only a 4 yr old boy!! There is no need to yell and scream and frighten him like that (or to any kid!)

Second horrible thing they did was to my baby who is only 13 months old and it is totally unacceptable!! My husband picked up a decorating streamer on the floor and gave it to my baby to play with. It was only one of those hanging streamer that worth probably a few dimes or nickels or not even. Then, the same mean girl walked over and asked for it back because it was a Bounce u property. Fine, my husband said he would give it back to her in a little while after he's done playing with it. Then after about a minute, this mean girl reported this to the manager and that female manager walked over and asked in an extremely rude and nasty tone "did you just take the decoration from us?". My goodness, it sounded like she was accusing us for stealing something valuable from them. My husband said yes and was trying to distract the baby with something else and take the decoration back. My other friend was helping to distract him as well. This horrible nasty manager didn't even wait for a second and just snatched it away from him. Of course, my baby cried like crazy. How could this manager be so rude and mean!!! How could she do that to a 13 month old baby?! How much does that decorating streamer worth anyways that she had to snatch it back this way! $5 $10? Oh maybe it was coated with gold that she had to take it back this way and make the baby cry! I am very disappointed that this Bounce u would hire manager and staff so mean and rude to their customers and the kids. Show a little more professionalism and courtesy. I cannot believe this could happen. What kind of attitude is this!

Third, when we went to the party room for pizza and cake. They had set up a long table for about 25 kids. They were all sitting elbow to elbow and squeezed like sardines. The last kid at the end of the table had to sit on the edge. Does it make sense to set up one more table so that they are not squeezed like that. Is it pure laziness or stupidity or what?? The owner of this Bounce U should re-train his/her employees. I feel that this place only wants to generate money and does not care about the kids at all. This is the Worst Bounce u I have had ever went to.

I would not recommend this particular Bounce u to anyone at all. I would rather go to a better party place for better service!!

This was our third bounce playland in as many months. The first two brands were Jumpnasium in Fairfield NJ, and Pump It Up in Secaucus. They are very similar to this Bounce U. A 6 year old child is not going to be able to tell any of the three places apart.

What sets this Bounce U apart is that they have one "castle" that is the tallest I've ever seen. My kids consider themselves veterans now, so they were particularly active. That largest one gave them a longer slide chute, and they had a dual basketball game with more realistically positioned hoops. As in the others, Bounce U has two "stadiums", and the open jump sessions give the children about 40 or so minutes in each room. Just as they may be tiring of the first, they get to explore other types of inflated castles in the second room. I suspect the two room set up is a necessity of size - plus the roar of the inflatables' fans are loud enough - twice as many at one time would be deafening! Also standard is an air hockey table, and Bounce U had one in both rooms.

Unique to Bounce U is a huge free standing basketball hoop and over sized ball. After paying for the session, it seemed wrong to have to shell out a buck for air hockey table time, but I can understand that if anything, it helps move folks along so others can get a turn. There is a set of touchable lights on the wall, with a variety of games, but my kid's attention spans were too manic with all the stimuli going on to focus on it. Plus many other kids will just run up and touch away, not realizing someone is playing

There's this senseless Tornado air booth I've seen in malls that failed to get my money, no matter how hard my daughter whined.

This is a great place to burn off energy on rainy days and in the winter. As with the others, Bounce U makes it's bread on private parties, so the "open jump sessions" are usually only weekday occurrences a few times a month. The fee at our time of purchase was nine dollars a child (a buck or two lower than the competition) , no fee for accompanying adults, and they all have a capacity limit, preferring that you make reservations ( and they prefer if you pay in advance when you call in to reserve spots - and it's non refundable if you end up not making it there!)

Try it once and your kids will be hooked! It certainly beats the chaos of Chuck E. Cheese. No food is pimped during open jumps - a few parents of toddlers had snacks and drinks with them, and there is a beverage vending machine, but since they don't want any of it on the bouncers, you might as well wait 'til later. I brought a water bottle because too many kids slobber on the water fountain.
