I rate satisfactory, because the food is good, Carribbean cuisine without needing a plane ticket. All they need is a major upgrade on their customer service. Lose that lethargic apathetic swagger and give a customer a smile and decent attention. I know it might be a long day and I may not be a regular, but in this day and age, a business can not afford to lose people based on "cold shoulder" service! A little pleasant personality goes a long way to secure customer loyalty. Maybe it was just those couple times.

Made a simple order - no thank you or any of the bare essential niceties, hardly even looked me in the eye. Then when I see an item is missing, don't make me wait until the order is completed for the person that walked in well after me before you add that item that was sitting there ready, waiting to be put in the bag the first time. When people come in after me, order something that takes similar time to prepare, and get it and leave before me, I'm not likely to hold that establishment in high favor. Not the best policy when you are two doors down from a Popeyes that has to be leading in it's region's sales totals!

And if you are out of a popular item nearly every day at a certain time, does it not make sense to stock more of that item? You could increase your profit line on beef patties alone if the customers knew you had them in the late afternoon when they come in after a hard day's work. There's a West Indian cuisine spot down the street. Take advantage of the one thing you guys have over them - unofficial use of plenty of parking due to a church lot right next door.

Update - on a recent revisit 7/2011, the cook was a one man show, and pleasantries were forth coming. Hmmm...
