Pros: Cheap and good

Cons: Closed on the Upper West Side

Mary Ann's has a cool space with lots of colors which I kind of like. The menu is huge and incredibly affordable! Everytime I go here I am really pleased, with the exception of a burrito with spinach in it...but I think spinach just

Pros: Reasonable price, window watching

Cons: Service lacking despite empty place, entrance on side street

HORRIBLE service! The food is pretty bland, and they charge for REFILLS on ICE TEA! Who the hell charges refills for ice tea? HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED.

Everything is just OK. Service was barely good enough and didn't refill the water or the chips. The guac and margaritas were good, but the main courses had way too much cheese (and I love cheese). In fact, I struggled to find a non-cheese

Pros: drinks, atmosphere

I had to sign up just to reply to some unfair reviews. Mary ann's has the best salsa of any NYC mexican restaurant and we have never been unhappy with the Margarita's! If you don't like a lot of cheese, just ask for half cheese. You do

Pros: salsa, margaritas, price

Cons: average service

With barely so-so food to begin with, you'd think this place would want to make a friend or two. That would be a no, or at least they really, really don't care. This place pulled the sleeziest move I've seen in a restaurant in a long time.

Pros: margaritas, value, pretty good food

Cons: crowded, wait

Mary's has great food and a very fun atmosphere. The service was on the sucky side, but who cares after a margarita or two. There is usually a crowd to get in so expect a wait. If you want to bring a date here the lighting is soft

If you're simply looking for a huge plate of cheese-drenched Mexican, this is the place to go. For subtle flavors and decent salsa, keep looking. The crowds are huge. Not sure why. That said, it sure beats Benny's. Really friendly,

Mary Ann's has long been a draw with the student set, and it's no wonder: the food is reasonably tasty, exceedingly filling, and pairs well with the lethal margaritas. Start with chalupas---crisp blue corn tortillas baked with tomatillo…
