The flavors are really good and the portions are decent for the price. It's conveniently located close to the subway, the staff is friendly, and even when the lines are long you get served quickly. I like coming here when I'm in the area

I used to live in California and taquerias are everywhere. When I moved to New York, there was a hole in my heart that neither Choipotle nor Qboba could fill. I missed that authentic flavor that was only available in Cali. That is, until I

After waiting 15 minutes on the line during lunch, it was finally my turn to order.

I ordered the quesadilla carne asada (it was more like a burrito, the steak was tough and wrap too doughy), soft taco pollo asado (chicken very tender), carnitas (pork) plato (the black beans overwhelmed everything else) and the chips & salsa.

It didn't sound like a lot of food for two people but it was.

Those of you from the Bay Area know three things: 1) Arnold Schwarzenegger barely knows English; 2) the Oakland Raiders are the worst team in football; and 3) Gordo Taqueria has the best burritos on the planet.

Well, now you can get the same burritos at Dos Toros, the brand new NYC iteration of Gordo's, right here in the Big Apple! The burrito wraps are steamed and packed with steak or chicken, and will literally change your life. The one problem -- a LOT of people have already had their lives changed; there's usually a long line out the door, and the place stopped delivering because they couldn't keep up with the sheer number of orders they were receiving. Be smart, go at an off time, and enjoy!

Pros: Amazing Burritos

Cons: Loooooooong Waits
