Dr. Clements is the most wonderful person in the world!!!
He not only takes great care of my 6 kitties when they come in for boosters or to have their teeth clean, he will take in any stray kitty that I cannot find a home for and takesover the job of finding a home for the baby!! I WOULD NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE WITH MY BABIES!!!

Do not go to this Vet Clinic if you love your pets. There are so many Customers that you feel like cattle, you will wait to get in and wait to check out. They are also expensive, charged me $95 for 20 pills of Zantac, which is the same that is used by humans and could have been purchased at the pharmacy for $5. I understand everyone has to make a profit to sustain the business, but that is a massive mark up! They are very unclear in their explanations and lack communication skills. I took a dog in for Minor surgery (removing a small lump on the front leg) and when I went to pick him up he was paralyzed on the rear right side, dragging his legs and had to stay for 2 extra days.
The clinic has even been picketed......

We started going to Dr. Clements animal clinic 6 months after he had opened. He and his staff have taken care of our aninals always. We had purchased a Kayz-honden puppy and had him 6 weeks. Dr. Clements called and asked how he was doing. At the time he was well. He had informed us that the other 5 had passed away because of parvo. A couple of days later he had come down with it. Dr. Clements and his staff had worked weeks trying to pull his through this. My puppy had finally passed away. They were so simpathetic. Since then we have had 5 more Kayz-hondens. 3 are in doggy heaven and we have 2 puppies now. Our 3rd Kayz-honden was bitted my our next door neighbor and ripped his face apart. We caled Dr. Clements office and was told to bring him in right away. We got there within 10 minutes. We arived at the office and it was packed. We walked in and they had a room open for us right away. They fixed my and I was so happy they were there to do so. The neighbor was not so happy when I was done with them. Someone stated that if you call them and say it is an emergency that they charge you different. I have not had anyone tell me when I call it in as an emergence. Besides if they did, I would have no issue in paying for it because my dogs come first and I want the best for them. I would not take my animals anywhere else. Dr Ramos and Dr. Clements are our primary vet for my boys now, but I would be at rest to have anyone of Dr. Clements staff work on my dogs

I have taken all my animals to this practice for 15+ years. Over the years, I have had dogs and a guinea pig. My experiences with these doctors have always been wonderful. They have always treated my pets as if they were their own. I could not be more satisfied. I would not take my pets anywhere else.

Dr. Clements handled the situation with our very, very sick cat beautifully. He diagnosed his likely lymphoma virtually before he took the bloodtest. He told us all the options without pushing one or another too hard. He discussed the odds of his surviving the exploratory surgery and he called us personally to tell us the cancer matasticized to the liver. He agreed to try chemotherapy to see if it would help the symptoms when we were not yet ready to lose our cat and he spoke to us personally over the two months of treatment and helped us let our cat go when it was time. What more could you want?

Dr Clements and all his staff have seen all 3 of my Keeshonds since they were puppies. I have never had a bad insident. My first Keeshound I purchased had a runny nose. Dr Clements personally took him home with him and nursed him back to health. I had another insident where my keeshound chewed on a stick which made him very sick. It was very late and I called the hot line and they opened the office right away and made him better. Dr Clements also called the next morning to see how my keeshond was feeling. My second Keeshond had been attacked by my next door neighbors dos. I calle dthe Colonial Park animal clinin and they said bring him in right away. When I got there they rushed him right away. My 3rd Keeshond has eaten something that was killing him. Dr Clements and his staff worked on him for 3 weeks and would not give up no matter what. Some of you people have bad feeling about him and his staff. I have the utmost respect for him and all his staff for what they all have done for me and my boys.I have had to put down all of my boys because of old age and other health issues. I have recently had to put down my last keeshond and most of you know that is the hardest thing anyone ever has to do. The staff at Colonial Park Animal hospital have been very consoling about our feelings and have even sent a letter on each one I have had to do this to stating how bad they feel for our sorrows. If I ever do get another dog, They will be the first and only people that will ever work on my animals.

All the people who wrote negative reviews are stupid. I have a friend who has been taking his 2 dogs here for the past 3 years and they are the greatest vet around. They are not like people say and since I just got a dog I am taking my dog there also. i don't get why people blame the vet for the animal dying. Its not the vets fault. Its like a human dying on the operating table at the hospital, now is it the Dr's fault?? This is a dang good vet service. I really enjoy going there and the people are wonderful!

I have a 6 year old Great Dane that has two discs that are overlapping. My regular vet wanted to do surgery. I found out about Dr. Ramos from another vet that recommended her for accupuncture. Gracie was having difficulty walking, climbing stairs and getting in and out of the car. From the first treatment Gracie has been able to do all the above with much less pain. Dr. Ramos has given Gracie her mobility back. Gracie may have to have surgery some day but until then Gracie is enjoying her life mostly pain free. I would definately recommend Dr. Ramos, she is caring and professional.

Dr. Clements and the staff at Colonial Park Animal Hospital have been wonderful to me. Dr. Clements operated on my Poodle's eye and recently removed a growth from my dog The staff called to find out how the dog was doing and even Dr. Clements called to let me know the results of the test.

I like Dr. Clements and do not want anyone else touching my dog unless it is an emergency and Clements is not available.

Nemo is my first reptilian pet--Eastern box turtle. I was fearful of any new veterinarian after reading online how cautious one must be in choosing a reptile vet. I was extremely pleased with my first visit a year ago shortly after we adopted Nemo. We just visited recently to have him checked for post-hybernation lethargy. She was wonderful. Her knowledge and demeanor put us at ease and she handled Nemo with great care.

Dr. Haan cropped my baby doberman's ears a few weeks ago and has been WONDERFUL through the aftercare process. They carefully regulated her pain relief, they called to check on her at least twice, gave her a bath when she messed in her crate, offered to wash her crate linens, etc. etc. etc. They are NEVER rude to me when I call and have always been able to get me in on a rush basis her to have my puppy's ears retaped when she manages to shake off her protective cup.

One other important thing to note is that they stayed true to the estimate for costs that I was given before her surgery...there were no surprise charges or hidden fees, etc. I did TONS of research and this vet is a value in terms of the price, too.

Ripley LOVES Dr. Haan's bedside manner...she gives him kisses on his chin every time she's seen him so far.

I have a beautiful 4 year old Balinese female called Angel. All thanks to Dr Ramos and her wonderful care. When I got the kitten she was very young probably 6 weeks old. She was a gift and was purchased from a family raising them in their home. At her first visit to Dr Ramos we discovered she had Ring-worm. It seemed an easy thing to treat, but sad to say she came very close to dying as the ring-worm spread all over her body. Dr Ramos helped us through and I am so happy we didn't give up. And she worked with us on the deposit when we had to leave Angel overnight.

I moved away a few years ago and am moving back into the area within the next month or so. I fully intend to go back to Dr Ramos.

I have a 4 1/2 lb toy fox terrier who was viciously attacked by my Jack Russell. She has a very small neck and was ripped clean through to the muscle. She also had a deep wound across her back. She had 23 stitches. He took her in on an emergency in Palmyra and he kept her for a week and then he brought her personally to Harrisburg for me to pick her up. She was in very bad shape and he did not think she would live. I would call in the morning and in the evening and the staff told me they were back holding her and cuddling her. He may not be the gentlest doctor to talk to, not exactly a people person, but he is an excellent vet with many years of experience. I also had a Jack Russell I took to his Palmyra office on an emergency when she was having trouble giving birth to her puppies. Two vets worked on her that night and gave each of us a puppy to hold and massage to get them to breath. We were right there to see the whole thing. They were wonderful. One of the puppies didn't make it but it was my fault for not taking her in sooner. A few years ago I had a female Jack Russell with an enlarged heart which Dr. Clements diagnosed. I was upset and in disbelief and I took her to Dauphin County Animal Clinic who diagnosed her as not having a heart problem. Well, let me tell you, my Jack Russell died on the way to the Emergency Clinic in Mechanicsburg because she DID have a heart problem and they could not take care of it. I was stupid to not listen to Dr. Clements. I own 6 dogs, 2 birds and 2 cats and they were not my regular vets, but they are now. So, anyone who does not take advantage of the abilities and experience of Dr. Clements is a fool.

We took our 13 year old cat in as his health took a quick downturn. We had never been there before, but they were very kind to us. Unfortunately, we discovered our cat had cancer. We decided not to let him continue to suffer. The office sent us a beautiful card, placed his ashes in a beautifully engraved wooden box complete with a certificate about the "Final Act of Love". Overall, we had a very good experience during a very painful time.

PROS: Kind, Compassionate and Honest
