For the review that was written about the lady that spent 500 dollars on a dieing cat - I was a patient waiting on the waiting room during that appointment, and I've NEVER in my life seen a customer that has ever been so rude to such nice veterinary staff in my life. The Dr. and the technician that helped that lady offered to work with the lady financially JUST SO HER ANIMALS WOULD NOT DIE AT HOME! Don't listen to her, she doesn't know what she is talking about - Dr. Lawson and his staff are wonderful. I take all of my animals to have and always have

Staff is a little rough around the edges but nice enough and the facility is not the nicest but quick and fairly priced. I will definately be back when my pups need to see a doctor again.

First let me say that I have been bringing my dog (Majik) to this vet for 4 years (mostly because the person who we got Majik from used them). Now its time for his 4th annual check up. The checkup is done, he got his shots and my wife brings him home. On the way home, Majik??s face starts to swell up very bad (eyes, mouth). This has never happen at any of the other yearly checkups. We bring the dog back and they give it a shot of Benadryl. The swelling subsided but the next day he is limping terribly (right back leg). I feel all around his leg to see if he would react to any pain when I touched a certain area. Nothing! I call up friends who own dogs and a few said they probably hit a nerve while giving it a shot. I give it a few days and there is little improvement. Majik who used to play, run, and jump around is now just a depressed dog that is not moving around anywhere.

Wether I did the right thing or wrong thing with Majik after his limp is not the issue. How me and my wife got treated is the issue !!!!.

1. They would not let me talk to the vet. He is to busy and doesn??t have time.
(He don??t have time for his customers, you got to be kidding me). I asked again (I got the same answer). He is to busy and doesn??t have time.

2. The women who answered the phone (probably an admin person) is very rude. She would not let me talk to anyone else. Everyone was to busy! Can I leave a number so somebody can call me ?her answer NO.

3. Now I informed her I want Majik??s records and we are getting another vet. She said fine. From the tone of her voice ?we are so busy , what is one customer??

4. My wife goes to the vet in person and asks to see the doctor. Again the answer is, He is to busy and doesn??t have time. My wife asks the clerk, what if this was your dog, what would you do? She gets a shrug and a roll of the eyes.

They did something to my dog Majik that day and I can??t find out a thing. Please, Please, Please, to all who reads this. FIND ANOTHER VET !!!

Dr. Strong is MUCH better than Dr. Lawson (even though he is the owner and his family members all work there). She was VERY caring and helpful when our puppy tore her ACL. It took a long time before they figured out what was wrong but once it was diagnosed we could not have been more happy with how they cared for our baby. They were very nice about answering all of our questions and fitting us in at the last minute when our pup decided to take some of her stitches out. The office staff is very helpful, although they can be a bit moody at times (but what do you expect when you work with your family members?) Overall, our experience was great and I would recommend Dr. Strong to anyone!

I took my Maltese in for a checkup/shots. I had to tell the "vet" (the older man) what I wanted done eg, heartworm test, fecal test, basically all of the routine stuff you'd have done at a REAL vet!! He told me to just make another appointment to bring her back in. My guess is that he didn't want to do his job AND collect another office fee! Central Ave. Veterinarian Clinic is my favorite!!!
