Abner Creek Baptist Church is on fire for the Lord. God has opened up so many oportunities in our community for us to spread His word. I have kids in the youth and they are growing so much in their walk with the Lord it is so good to see He is working in all areas of our church. The worship music is good also with a combination of traditional and comtemporary songs. I did attend another church a few years back and I can tell you that it is common that if you want to become a member of a church that you do have to take a membership class, so this is something that is becoming a part of churches everywhere.
Our pastor preaches from the word of God and does an excellent job. He is leading us in love and direction from the Lord. I would invite anyone who is searching for a home church to come visit Abner Creek. God is working here and its amazing to see what He is doing.

I'm proud to call Abner Creek my home church. Please, we must remember this is God's house, not mine or yours. We truly own nothing in this world. The only thing we own is our salvation that was given to us by the grace of God. That is what I have learned the past year at Abner Creek. Being a small ministry leader of the balloon outreach ministry, I know for a fact that the first M in 3M stands for Missions. The children made me candy cane testimonies for me to give out at the Flea Market. Some of the children also handed them out to other children at the Flea Market. Come see for yourself.

I am attending Abner Creek Baptist Church. The preacher preaches from the word of God. There is a missions organization for the children on Wednesday nights called 3M (Missions, Music, Memorizaton) and the kids absolutely love it. At the end of the month, the 3M kids enter the sanctuary to recite the same memory verse that the adults are learning on Sunday mornings. They are offering simulcasts to inspire, encourage, and teach others in the community not affiliated with the church. They do a flea market ministry and a balloon ministry, a backpack ministry for hungry children, and more. I don't know where the first two people got there information but apparently they are not attending the same church as I am.

I have attended Abner Creek all my life and I love my church but with the new leadership we have now it doesn't feel like Abner Creek anymore. It now belongs to the pastor and his wife. They run everything. The music, childrens department, youth and even the adults. No more GA's or RA's. No missions for the children. No programs on Sunday nights either. The music is not like anything I enjoy at all. It is so loud you need earplugs. I don't know why we even have a choir. You can't hear them over the music and the song director and the pastors wife. This is the only church I have heard of that you need to attend a membership class with the pastor for 6 weeks before you join the church. I don't know when they get baptisted. I have dear friends leaving every week so they can get fed by God. This is nothing like the Southern Baptist Church I grew up in. People wake up and listen to GOD.
