They are under contract to service my HOOT system. Since they are only about 2 miles from my house I expected great friendly local service . On one occasion the owner sent me a ""report"" saying he couldn't inspect my service because there wasn't ""power to the unit"". OMG there WAS power to the unit-the problem was that the 9 volt battery inside the hoot unit had gone out-the business OWNER couldn't tell the difference between a 9 volt battery an a 220 electrical line and then charged me another $50 for his ignorance! This is something a qualified inspector should have found. I should have known and expected more of the same as that was the FIRST inspection from this company.

Recently the employee (son) made up a story that I had a lock on my gate therefore did not do the inspection. There has NEVER been a lock on my gate and thee was NO reason why they couldn/t do the inspection. They finally came back out several months later and multiple phone calls from me.

On the most recent inspection I paid 2 weeks ahead of time to have the septic system pumped-per their recommendation, paid ahead what they quoted me, then they sent me an invoice for another $60 because they will have to ""roll out extra hose"". They said someone HAD to be here to make sure they got paid the day of the service. So I thought I could just pay the difference because I had already paid the 275 they quoted me. I made sure I was OFF work the day they had told me they were coming. The morning of the service (today 6/22/12) I called to see what time they were coming. That's when they told me they had SENT MY CHECK BACK TO ME the day before and cancelled me from the schedule because I hadn't returned their ""many calls and messages"" about the extra $60 hose fee. This was totally FALSE and flabbergasting that they would do this without telling me. I cant believe they expect to stay in business treating customers like this and canceling business that is already paid for-minus the extra fleecing they applied later. The owner (father) returned my call and was rude and certainly didn't act like he needed or wanted my business. I had already scheduled another company to come do the job by the time he called me back. He said ""Yeah I was told you said I'm running a sorry rotten business"" and was very argumentative about anything I said . His attitude validated my decision. My concern is people thinking they are going to get appropriate service of their Hoot system when these people don't know what they are doing in my opinion and don't want to hear any complaints either. I dont they they value thier customer and have NO clue as to what it takes to run a successful business. I told the owner it was his business and they can run it the way he wants. I am taking MINE elsewhere.
