TCP catered a rehearsal dinner that we attended (our daughter was the bride). Since the grooms family did not live in this area I suggested this company. The food was good but the owner was very rude, After being paid by the grooms

TCP catered a wedding reception I attended in Lorena. This was the most unprofessional staff I have ever witnessed. I'm guessing it is a family-run business because the staff consisted of a Father, Brother and Sister team. First of all, from the very beginning, they were arguing with guests about using the plastic cups for beer instead of iced tea. Apparently, since they provided water and iced tea only, we were not allowed to use the cups for the beer that was provided by someone else. Why did they care so much? The bride and groom paid for everything. Why were they being so petty and completely rude to guests for using the cups? Out of a lack of options, many guests were getting iced tea, then walking over to the keg and pouring it out to fill it up with beer. Then it gets worse. The gentlemen pouring the beer for everyone (he was a groomsman) was assaulted by one of the employees (the father). Apparently there was a misunderstanding. The father thought this groomsman called his daughter "white trash" when in fact he was merely making a joke about having a keg at a "white trash wedding". The father stormed up to the groomsman, gripped him by the vest, and attempted to jerk him back behind the catering truck. He then threatened to stab him unless he apologized to his daughter. He had no concern that he was doing all of this at a formal event. Not to mention he was being paid to be there! Even if the groomsman did call her white trash, that is NO EXCUSE to threaten a guest. After pulling out his knife and telling the groomsman he was going to "take care of him," a few guests came to calm the situation. He finally let go. After that, the father went around to some of the guests and appeared as if he was trying to justify his completely obnoxious behavior. Meanwhile, the son was walking around and mouthing off to any guest that appeared to be friends with the groomsman that was assaulted. Bottom line, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY unless you want rude, TRASHY service that will threaten to stab your guests.
