I have been to this salon over 10 times now. I have never had anything but outstanding service. It's amazingly clean, the staff are all very friendly, and the eco-friendly products are great. I love the way the scrubs (used in the rock star mani/pedi) smell and make my skin feel. They also offer tea, and other various cocktails. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone.

I live near the Target shopping center and was pumped to discover a nail salon in the area the other day. I went in the next day for a mani/pedi, and was surprised to learn that it's $50 for a basic combo, but I was to get a $5 discount for being one of the first 20 people in on the weekend. I really enjoyed the pedicure done by a young, Asian lady--great leg and foot massage, but the middle-aged black woman who did my manicure royally messed it up. She cut my finger while trimming my cuticle, applied the polish sloppily, yelled at me twice for turning the pages of my magazine when my polish was wet (although I was only using the pad of my finger to do it), and when I needed the polish on one of my fingers re-done, I WAS LEFT TO DO IT MYSELF even though I was still in the salon! RIDICULOUS!

Yeah, this place has free drinks (wine or mimosas on weekends), but save your money and go somewhere else, preferably to an all Asian nail salon--I've gotten much better service and pricing at those.

Rumor Has It is conveniently located in the plaza of my local Target, making it the obvious new choice for my nails. I was pleased when I walked in and was instantly greeted, filled out a card about my preferences, and asked if I would like a drink... all pluses. However, the mani went downhill from there. The "basic" mani is $20, which is fine if it's done well. It was not. My cuticles could have used a bit more attention, especially on one nail where it was hardly pushed back, making the nail look short and strange. The hand/arm massage was brief and lacking. I had to ask for a second coat of color because the manicurist thought just one streaky coat was good. The manicurist also did not swipe my nails with polish remover after putting lotion on my hands and put the top coat on haphazardly, missing some spots, which of course led to the immediate peeling of the polish. I had to remove the color the next day. I can spend $15 and get a superior manicure elsewhere. Will not return.

Pros: Polite, Quick, Conveniently Located

Cons: Bad Mani, Overpriced
