I parked at a restraunt very close to tamu campus at 8:50, I know they have a spotter there because I bike past her everyday. Well this particular day I met a friend outside the restraunt to exchange class work and spoke to her for 15 minutes. In that time A1 had towed my car. Not seeing this from where I was standing (at the other side of the restraunt) I went in and ate. When I left at 10am I noticed my car gone, and alerted the staff, they told me it had been towed immediately after I had parked. When I called and complained I was told that the "spotter" had seen me crossing the street. This wasn't true she had mererly lost sight of me as I walked around the restraunt to where my friend was. I told them I had a restraunt reciept showing I ate, but admitted I had not entered the restraunt immediately after I parked. However, I had remained in the parking lot the entire time. I was told the only was to get my money back was suing them in small claims court, something I don't have the time, money, or knowledge to do. They have poor business practices and prey on the weak knowing they have no way of fighting back. When I contacted A1 I was put on hold for over 20 minutes and ultimately transfered to 4 people, and had to explain my self 5 or 6 times. The office staff (all women) were snide and unapolegetic even after 2 admitted that it looked like I had done nothing wrong. I will be paying 120 to get my car back, and I have to take a cab to get there. I've seen how badly they handle cars when towing a car without the owner present. I'm hoping my car hasn't been damaged. I've already heard a large number of horror stories about this company and the way they treat cars in their posession. I won't be eating in that restraunt again for fear of being towed by a moronic spotter, and sadly it was one of my favorite restraunts. A company that has to hire spotters to make a profit is a company that shouldn't be in business, that's all i'm going to say about their shady practices.

This is the worst towing company, they have the rudest employees that are inconsiderate and mean. The guy that came to tow my car was a guy named JC wrecker number 31. He was not helpful and he was a complete jerk. This is completely unnecessary and no one should ever call this company!

I have had my car towed by them 3 times. They get there really quick and do a good job. They are well priced and the people are very friendly. They take any kind of payment and are willing to work with you.
