**Took over 60 days for them to register my car with the state. Still not done yet, but the only reason there is progress is because I've called and bugged them ad nauseam. Stay away from this hell hole.**

Everyone hates car dealerships. The process of buying a car is terrible, no matter the dealer.

My experience with Pohanka started off with the usual disdain for car salesmen and if that's where it would have ended, the experience would have been uninteresting.

But... that's not how Pohanka operates. I have no qualms with the "buying" process (outside of the normal crap car dealerships do). The problems at Pohanka begin after you agree to buy the car.

It took over 2 hours to sign the paperwork (financing, etc.). The financing lady I worked with was more interested in chit chatting and finding a friend than doing her job.

Still, 60 days after buying the car, my vehicle is not registered with the state. On top of that, they still don't have my address right. I have had to go back to get temporary tags renewed because they can't seem to follow a simple process to get it done.

More frustrating, I've had to call and talk to 5 different people, none of which were able to solve the problem and all of which told me they were working on it. I find out after nearly 2 months, they were still waiting on paperwork from me (which I had already sent them, but the finance lady decided not to check her email).

They practically beg (and threaten) you to give them the top rating when Honda calls to check on your purchase, but they provide $hitty customer service.

To top it off, they told me yesterday, by law, they are not allowed to renew my temp tags beyond 60 days. Great, so I guess I can't drive the car...

Nope. You see, they were wrong and their other office actually did it for me. These people are incompetent and worthless (seriously, it shouldn't take 4 tries on my part correcting the address for them to get it right)!

If you go here, which I advise against, do NOT use Sharon Martin as your sales agent, Eileen Kincer as your financing/paperwork idiot, or Jeff Casello (apparently, Eileen's boss). They all failed miserably.

I just wanted to let you know that this was the best new car buying
experience that I have ever had in my life.
I have purchased at least 5 new cars in my life. Historically car
dealers have been tricky and confrontational in my experience.
The last 2 Honda's we purchased through AAA just to avoid all the hassles.

It was a true pleasure dealing with you and Pohanka Honda.
I know that you were surprised at my skepticism, but I have had some
really bad experiences in the past with various car dealers.

I must say they you and Pohanka are fantastic. It was a really great
experience and everyone that we talked with in the dealership was the same.

The environment and people at Pohanka are all friendly and fun.
By the time we left, I wished that I could work at a place like this.

This is our 5th Honda Accord, so I am sure we will be back to see you
again - even if it is a 3.5 hour drive.
