I spared no expense, if you see my hair, it is all about my hair!!!!!! I needed a blowout every two or three days, and it worked until I had to do a national tradeshow in Seattle at the convention center on Pike Street. I was staying at the Sheraton. I needed something local and within walking distance. I already explored the Aveada school for a haircut earlier the week before, but I needed something convinient without a cab ride, close to the convention center and the hotel. I kept passing this salon called Sense, I was curious and desperate at the same time, so the day before my fab salon experience I stopped in and asked if they would take me, Robert- the owner said no I am sorry I do not have a stylist today, I thought to myself, WTF? A salon who doesn't have a stylist in that day, but I remember touring Pike's Place Market they had calendars of the Seattle Seahawks Seagals and I looked at the calendar and remembered a logo on there that also showed Sense as their salon. I said no it can't be the same salon who didn't have a stylist in that day, but knowing what I knew, I followed my gut and trusted my intuition, and I said fine, I will make an appointment for tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. that Wednesday in between my two classes that I was taking that day for CEU's and take a chance.........and you know what?

The experience with Casey James as my hair designer was the best I ever had- he did hair and loved doing it, you can tell. His energy was the best, his style kicked ass, and next to my latin chicks at the beauty school who are graduated and some of my very good friends in the Philly area, I feel I made a friend that day as stand offish as I can get with strangers, especially looking like s*&t. I wanted a blow out going in to Sense and I got the Brazilian Blowout - going out, featured with no formaldehyde. I was literally and figuratively blown away!!!!!!!!!! Casey spent an hour washing, blowing out and flat ironing my hair, I looked at it and when he told me he has to do that all over again after he put the Brazilian Blowout product in my hair, blowed it out again, flat ironed it and washed it, I almost cried, no stop, "it looks great", he said, "no I have to set it and wash it out again", he took a 'before' and 'after' picture, one with a sad pouty face and the after.........well lets just say considering I was in sweats that day, my hair looked, F@#%ing hot! The shine, the texture could not be described in words, when he took the final picture, he didn't use flash and it looked like he took it with the flash, that is how shiny it was and still is today. Then we walked to get some lunch and he couldn't believe how shiny it was, the sun was shining that day in Seattle and it reflected all the sunlight down the street, and you know what, that was the best Salon experience I have ever had, I am still getting compliments on my hair, it feels healthy, looks healthy, and sexy. I have never had my hair look like that even on my best hair day ever. He gave me some styling tips as well. How often to wash my hair, products to use and how to find a salon in my area. He is great, he is also very patient with me and my hair, and I bet he is the next up and coming celebrity hair stylist, because his work, his attitude and his style is simply fabulous. As far as Robert the salon owner, I get it buddy, I have an MBA as well and I totally get it-----You rock! Great business sense, and he can read people to a T, he thought I wasn't going to show up the next day, but I did and it was the best thing that ever happened to my hair, not only am I a picky bitch, but I left Seattle knowing I can go back, and leave off where I did with Casey, Robert, and Shaundra. Seriously, RUN_ DO NOT WALK THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About 3 years ago I moved to Seattle from San Francisco, and after a failing search for a good hair dresser I found Shandra, who has been the greatest hairdresser I could ever ask for!
Unfortunately, I was laid off a little over a year ago and I moved about 45 minutes away. Being low on money and relatively far away I started looking for a local hairdresser, but after numerous bad experiences I caved and called the salon Shandra had been working at; to my shock she was no longer there! Hearing that and looking at my frumpy hair cut (which was only done 3 weeks prior and cost an arm and a leg- and I'm not one to complain about the cost of a GOOD hair cut, a bad one however, well...) I almost cried, but then the receptionist explained to me that she had bought her own salon! Incredibly excited I called and made an appointment!
Shandra acquired the salon a couple weeks ago and has been busy making obvious improvements to the facility, which includes a major facelift (removing walls, changing the decor and making it her own little slice of heaven) and building a professional and stylish staff. I'm sure that when the place is done it will look amazing, and I will be a regular and very happy customer!
When I went in to get my hair cut I was so down-trodden about my recent hair cutting experiences that I could only hope Shandra was as amazing as I remembered her being, and she is! My hair is AMAZING!!! I feel attractive again!!! I will NEVER see another hair stylist again!

Pros: best hairdresser around!

I would gladly pay $35 for a good pedicure- the place looked like it was being remodeled & i got someone to do my pedicure that normally does hair- go figure! Good massage with scrub, but the pedicure didn't look professional at all, very disappointed. Person even mentioned being flexible on prices & then it's $35 for a lousy job! Would never return.

I would recommend this to my friends the location is in the cenral city of Seattle....suitable for me to tan in my work day. It made me feel good without harming my skin. The color was perfect and didn't look fake. I have a very pale skin color and I found going in the sun turns me red with damaging my skin :-) Airbrush tanning really is the only way for me to have this perfect bronze. I found the staff to be very friendly, while I was there I could get a pedicure or wax, haircut or lash extensions ( which last up to 2 months), permanent makeup also reflexology massage. The salon is very into the latest trends. Once again I cant say enough good things about salon LOTTE in the Convention Center downtown Seattle. I am wearing a tan and a smile; I'm a very happy customer.
