Our dog almost DIED after taking him there for an emergency! She said she performed things that she never actually did, then told us we didnt have to go to our normal vet for 2-3 weeks back home. Thank god we took him in the day we got home because he was on the verge of dying and had to spend several days in the hospital. Just a horrible experience and we heard from others in town they have had similar experiences here. Stay away!

We go to Eagle River every year and bring our pets. Last year, our lab spent so much time swimming that towards the end of our stay her tail got really swollen and painful... we thought it might have been broken. The vet got her in quickly and treated conservatively, giving her a shot of anti-inflammatory and some Rymadil, which worked great. Apparently, this is a common problem for lazy dogs that come up for vacation and suddenly get tons of exercise. Their expertise in the matter saved us hundreds of dollars in unnecessary x-rays and tests. They are very honest and caring, and I would recommend them to anyone.
