.

Positives: 1. They had a children's room with a very nice lady that watched our daughter while we looked at cars. The room had all windows, so we could see our child.
2. They gave us a fair trade in value on our vehicle
3. They have a 30-day warranty.
Negatives:
Ken Ganley Nissan does NOT certify ANY of their pre-owned vehicles. This is why the cost is so much lower than any of the other dealerships. We bought a 2009 Acura based on the integrity of the vehicle brand, not the dealership.
1.We arrived at Ganley at 2:30 and did not leave until after 8:00 that night. We have never had to wait this long to buy a vehicle, and we paid CASH! We didn't even go through financing!
2. The first vehicle we test drove wouldn't start because it did not have any gas in the tank.
3. The vehicle we purchased did not have an owners' manual. We asked if Ganley would cover the cost to purchase a new one, they said no. The sales rep said she could take the owners' manual out of another Acura (but it wasn't the same year) they had on the lot. I said no thank you considering I wouldn't want someone else to do that to me. I bought one online which cost nearly $100.00.
4. The vehicle had 1 key only. I asked if they would get us another one as part of the sale. They refused (I understand this, it was close to $50).
5. The windshield, after closer inspection, has numerous small chips out of the front of it. It was getting dark, so my husband and I could not see the chips. Additionally, there is some type of film between the glass. I have not been able to clean it from the inside or the outside.
6. The air conditioning, which we didn't test since we bought the car in January, does not work.
7. We asked if they would pay for a tank of gas along with the sale of the car. They refused, saying they only buy tanks of gas for new cars, not used. Just to clarify, the vehicle we bought was nearly $25,000. Clearly doesn't meet the "new car/free gas" requirement apparently.
8. We were given paper-thin office trash bags to clean out our car, not a huge deal, just poor customer service.
9. While we were negotiating with our sales rep, the young man in the cubicle beside us was getting scolded by the manager for offering a price too low to be respectable. I honestly felt bad for the kid, he was mortified.
10. I contacted our sales rep to discuss the Air Conditioning issue, she never responded. Thanks to this site, I was able to read all the comments from others who have had horrible experiences. Even if Ganley offered to pay for a new windshield and a new Air Conditioning unit, I would not take the deal. Integrity goes a long way with me, and clearly they do not have any.
PLEASE PLEASE Save yourself the experience of going here. The prices are low and very tempting, BUT you have no idea what you are getting into considering the vehicles are not certified.

Horrible Rude Service from Director of Sales. Stay Away?.
The WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had. The director of sales was blatantly rude and tried to embarrass me when I tried to purchase a car. The car needed tires, a paint job, brakes, the trunk would not open and was held together by tape, and the radio did not work. With all of those flaws I gave a low starting offer and he responded with VERY rude comments and was VERY DISRESPECTFUL. He then gave no counter offer and just walked away like a pompous prick. I will never step foot in a Ken Ganley anything, again.

Had several bad experiences @ Ken Ganley Nissan in Medina
I made 2 purchases back to back with financing thru Nissan Motor Acceptance. After 2 weeks of having the vehicles I was told I could only do one thru Nissan other had to go thru the bank (The Finance Manager should of known this) they said continue to drive the car until we make another deal. Once I could not agree to another deal due to the payment being higher , the attitude of the manager changed and he threatened to report the car stolen if I did not return it immediately.
I had previously said I will be bringing it back that evening but he was angry. I had a $3000.00 deposit pending returned so due to the change of attitude & threats I had the Medina Police meet me there to assist the return and make sure everything checked out so Icould get my money back without further hassle. By the way this was my daughters new car and she witnessed all of this.
What an awful experience for her @ 17yrs old. The kind police officer did a great job help helping us

Second situation , I took an extended warranty for 60,000 mi on my vehicle I kept. The finance manager entered it with a $100.00 deductable but my deal included the extened warranty with no deductable. He stated he could not change this (but recently by new manager there that he could of , what a liar this guy was)
but gave me a signed statement stating Ken Ganley Nissan will pay the $100.00 deductable for the term of my warranty. Now stating if I go to another Nissan dealership I will have to pay out of pocket and wait to be reimbursted. I am suppose to be able to go to any Nissan for repair with this extended warranty. I suppose if they cannot rip you off they can try to inconvience you and do not care at all!
Again you only are a customer until the deal is done...

100% would not recommend this dealership.

I had been shopping for 3 weeks for a new car until I went on Ken Ganley's website. Their prices were lower than every other Nissan dealer. When I went in I was greeted by a pleasant associate named Rose. She assisted me in going over all of the features of the Frontier I was interested in. The finance department was also very good. They got me a great interest rate. All of the staff I encounter were top notch. I really felt like my business was valued.

I tried to buy a car. I was upfront and made a fair offer to which the rep said he woukld check with the mgr. He never called me back and after a second attempt, I got hold of the "sales director" who said he was aware and had to refuse my offer (asking price, 15,970; offer 15,200.

He said nothing else...no explanation, counter offer-nothing!!! Worse than that, no one was going to call me back to decline. I should have heeded the reviews.

Very unprofessional and I was ready to buy!!!!

Business Response:

In all fairness we do price our vehicles very aggressive to the market, and in some cases they are reduced for final clearance with no negotiating left. You should have recieved a call or better explanation or an alternative to meet your budget goals, since we have a few hundred choices.

the sales and finance management were just super unprofessional and rude. The sales person was actually nice, but the manager was lacking people's skill and diligence. He was hostile, avoiding eye contact, and as somebody mentioned previously, I had the feeling that he was doing me a favor selling his car. Another story is a finance department. I swear it was the worst experience ever. The guy totally was not competent, screwed up the whole contract, made tons of mistakes while filling out the paperwork, and ignored my every attempt to fix the demographics by saying: "Oh, it is ok, do not worry about it." As a result of his poor work, I still do not have a paperwork done, my account is not established, and the next payment is withing a week! When I called them trying to fix the problem, I was offered to purchase additional temporary tags, and overall, was treated like it was my fault. The car is great, but if you would have an opportunity to buy it somewhere else, do not even think twice-go somewhere else!

I submitted (2) emails from two different websites (Autotrader, dealer website) inquiring about a vehicle at their dealership. I received NO replies to either inquiry. The vehicle which I was inquiring about was a $45,000 vehicle. Big loss for the dealer.

I found a vehicle online at a great price that was at this dealership. Having never purchased a vehicle without ever seeing it with my own eyes I was very skeptical to say the least. However the price was too much to turn down. I dealt with Tim Thomas and Jim Z during the process and both of them were very helpful. I am very excited to get the car from the shipper and can't wait to drive around in it. This was all possible by an awesome company that dealt with me very fairly and with respect. Do not hesitate to do business with these folks as they will do what they say and will not lead you down a wrong path. Thanks guys for your awesome work and I greatly appreciate you kindness!

Ken Ganley Nissan advertised a price for a vehicle online that we were ready to purchase. Sitting down to work out the deal, the salesman informed us that price was not valid. They were "out of coupons." What, like this is buying a box of Cheerios at the grocery store? Out of coupons? The price of the vehicle was $2000 higher than advertised. By the way, the "coupon price" is still advertised online. It's like they advertise a low price to get you in the door and then negotiate up. Lack of integrity from my point of view.

Stay away from this dealership! I traded in my car and I had a personal item that was bolted on to it and since it was late already the salesman said they have no access to the tools anymore. He said he would take it off first thing in the morning and give it to me. I called later the next day and he said the car was sold and that he wasn't able to get my stuff. He promised to try and get it from the new owner just give him some time. A week later I called him and left him a message but no reply...called later left him a message but no reply...called him again and finally got a hold of him and said he couldn't get my stuff and passed me to his manager who promised to try to get back or give me something for it. A month later still no phone call from anybody...called the salesman and he said he will leave message to his manager about it. Two weeks later still no phone call. I have left them a message at least 5 times but nobody has called back since. Absolutely the worst dealer I have dealt with. No customer service after the sale...STAY AWAY.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Ganley Nissan Medina, when talking with the sales rep I was told that the vehicle originally had an ABS issue (ABS light was on in vehicle) so they replaced the brakes and tires and the problem was fixed. I worked out a deal to purchase the vehicle for $8,500 and asked what the out the door price was going to be with tax and title and was told $9,300. After purchasing the vehicle I made it about 2 miles down the road and the ABS light came back on and the cruise control stopped working. I took it back and had to "pull teeth" (an expression) to get them to fix the problem (they wanted me to pay to get it fixed). Then a couple weeks later when I received the title in the mail it showed the sale price as $8,745. (The salesman gave me an out the door price with a sale price of higher than our agreement).... It's not about the money, it's about the low quality of honesty and service!

I was looking at a used car at this dealership, and after driving over 30 minutes to reach here, i found my experience to be extremely poor and unprofessional. The sales agent I was working with was great, however his manager was extremely unprofessional and rude. I have been to many other dealerships and I have to say by far this dealership has to be at the bottom of the list when it comes to treating customers right and fairly. Just the way the manager approached and talked to you, made you feel as though he as doing you a favor by letting you buy a car from them. Just to be clear i was looking at a used vehicle, and the manager from the start was extremely rude. Ken Ganley Nissan in no way shares the same values as Tom Ganley Nissan (Mayfield Heights) the only thing in common is the name other than that they have a long way to go to provide value and a positive client experience. If there was the option of giving zero stars then I would have.

I have used the service department and found them to be honest and thorough. They reported the extent of my problem before doing any repair work and the price was reasonable. They are quick on repair service and curteous to both my spouse and I. The facility is clean and they took care of my car both inside and out. I will conitnue going there because Nissan will guarantee the work.
