I have been mystery shopping for over 5 years and have never had a mystery shopping company insult my review as much as this one has.

Firstly, I just joined them and read all of their information and guidelines on how to perform the shop, what to evaluate and how to write my report. I followed their instructions exactly and only received a score of 3 out of 5. When I went on their website to check what was not up to their standards for my shop, it stated that I did not include what the server or the host said and did. That was totally wrong! I followed their instructions and put in quotes exactly what was said, the names of the server and the host, the descriptions of the server and host, the amount of time I waited for my food and how the experience made me feel. They gave me a budget of $39.00 and it stated in the instructions that I could go over budget if I so desired, but they would just reimburse me $39.00. Since we were two (my husband and myself) for dinner, we went slightly over budget (i.e. $42.00) and QACI gave me points off for going over budget!

When I emailed QACI regarding my shop and if there was something I possibly missed regarding their guidelines, I too never received a response from the editor.

I believe I received this kind of rating as it stated on their website how they give bonuses to shoppers who score a 4 or better. I just believe they are too stingy and "look" for ways that would would prevent them to awarding high scores for shoppers.

Well, this is the first and last shop I am going to do for this company and I highly suggest to everyone who mystery shops to not bother signing up with QACI.

The idea that you can make a few dollars by "reviewing" corporate dining establishments, chains mainly. Sadly this rarely happens as all the time, labor and everything else one puts into the job is completely undervalued, even communication in hopes of improving one's work sadly goes ignored as well. I spent over $175 of my own money out of pocket to perform a "quality assurance" job as a subcontractor with this company recently. I spent 3 hours on a Friday night away from my family "revising" my narratives (2 days after spending another 3 hours on the report)
in regard to the experience and level of service I received.
Only to wake up the next day to get an email saying my entire assignment was rejected because one of the employees sat me at the table instead of the bar area. I did everything that the company's guidelines required - so despite the incident being the "client's fault" I was the one who got the shaft. I drove the 40 miles and spent my own gasoline $. I parked at the airport and paid out of pocket for parking. I paid for the meals of myself as well as the members in my party and all other expenses were paid by me. Mind you I discovered that I would only be compensated $15 dollars for actual labor (additional payment for expenses incurred for said assignment was promised but alas, not delivered.)
I was even insulted about my writing even though my prose was perfect narratively and grammatically. I have an eye for detail and a MA in English Lit. (?) I'd rather not discuss this it would be embarrasing to Kim the editor for the company!
I made several requests as to how to avoid such a mishap in the future, asking questions like "how do I argue with a hostess who wants to seat me without giving myself away as a secret shopper?" Despite staying calm under pressure and bending over backwards for this company I got no reply to any of my inquiries or requests for copies of said report.. There is no consideration for the work you do at QACi Inc., no reply to work-related questions, despite theses queries being entirely regarding how to improve performance in future assignments. Has QACi ever heard of constructive criticism? I would have gladly received it, but no they would'nt bother to even offer it. Utterly unprofessional in my opinion.
Please do yourself a avor and stay far away from subcontracting from "KWAKY.net" AKA: "QACi.net" Thank you.
