I have been trying to avoid writing a response but I keep getting the emails asking me to do so. So here you go, I bought my vehicle 10/18/2013. Although I bought my vehicle uses, I never expected to experience what I have up to this day! When I bought my vehicle, and had some problems 2 days later. I was back at the dealership to let them know this vehicle was sputtering and shaking when I'm sitting at a light, it would act like it was going to cut off on me. There was a hesitation when I attempted to take off. I and was told " You just need to get use to the car, and the car needs to get use to you". Two day before Thanksgiving last year, I came out of the store and started the vehicle only for it to shut off and completely lost power. Having had the conversation previously with the salesman, that I feared getting stranded, when I called them that night, he said " You called it, you said that was your biggest fear". The car was towed in to the dealership, when I picked up, I was told it was the fuel pump that caused the vehicle to loose power, now I'm no mechanic but that didn't sound right to even me. Over the past year, this vehicle has been back at the dealership on several occasions, for as long as nearly a month at least 2 of those time . They have not been able to find the problem but yet has fixed something on this vehicle. There is something wrong with this car that it shakes and shut off the way it does. Most recently when making a turn the vehicle decreases in acceleration power, while in the turn, when I'm taking off from being stopped at a light or stop sign it's slow to move once it does it gives off a jerk and then takes off. I have been in the middle of driving when I suddenly feel the vehicle is decelerating as if it's slowing down on it's own. Originally when I went bad to speak with the salesman about this purchase, he jokingly asked If I wanted to cancel the deal and when I give him a resounding YES, he told me that we couldn't do that because it was to late and that my trade in vehicle was no longer available, on another occasion he told me the only other options I had was to do a voluntarily repo. Where I would just walk way from the car but would still be responsible for it. I drive this vehicle everyday fearing for my life, especially when my children are in the car with me. You will never know what that feels like.

Just be careful!

December 18, 2010 my wife and I purchased a 2007 Nissan Altima from Rockenbach Cheverlet in Grayslake, IL. The sales guy Ken George was a really nice guy with a rather smoothe style of selling and he wasnt pushy. This made us feel really comfortable. There were a couple of issues we initially had with the vehicle, but due to the unparallelled customer service that Rockenbach offers, they took care of us and we are VERY HAPPY with our INVESTMENT!!! Thanks to Ken (Sales) Paul (Sales), Jason in (Service) and George in (Customer Service), I would DEFINITELY recommend purchasing a vehicle from Rockenbach.

My wife traded her vehicle and bought a 2010 Mazda CX-9 from Rockenbach. We have been in constant contact with the staff to obtain the second keyless FOB and charge from the previous owner. Called and spoke to Dan Taylor. Promised to call me back. never happened. Went to the business on Tue. Spoke with my sale rep. They called the previous owner. The previous owner was bringing his new vehicle in for undercoating or something on Thur or Fri and thought he the second key. Today is Sat and still no response from Rockenbach. Mazda said a keyless FOB could run about $500 - $750 dollars if the first one is lost. The issue is Rockenbach contacted us after the trade to get the key for the spare tire locking unit for the traded vehicle. We provided that. But still nothing back from Rockenbach even a courtesy phone call.

Our salesman was awesome, very friendly, easy to talk to and explained everything about the vehicle to us.

We did a lot of leg work prior to visiting Rockenbach Chevrolet as far as pricing, options, etc.. Therefore, after test driving the car, talking with Jorge and Paul about the price, we came to what we think is a very good deal.

Jorge was not a pushy salesman at all. That is one thing that would have made us turn around and walk out of the dealership, but we never had that impression. He was willing to work with us and find us the best car that fit our needs and price.

We went to a few other dealers in the area. Raymond Chevrolet, I think they only know how to be pushy. My husband and I caught them in several lies and we left the dealership. While at Ray Chevrolet, they confirmed that they lie all the time at Raymond Chevrolet and then we find out later they are owned by the same person. This was a little to much for us.

This is why I think you should go to Rockenbach Chevrolet. Don't even waste your time at the other car dealerships. The General Manager came out and greeted us, Telling us how important our business was to him and the Rockenbach family. He let us know that this family has been in business since 1926. Now I know why.

The folks at Rockenbach Chevrolet didn't employ any shady sales tactics, were very knowledgeable and upfront about everything, and seem to really like working there. It honestly was a very positive environment.

I ended up getting a great deal on my new Equinox, and I feel good about the whole transaction. Definitely give Rockenbach Chevrolet a shot if you're in the Chicagoland area and are looking for a Chevy. My only regret is that I went to Biggers Chevrolet in Elgin first instead of Rockenbach Chevrolet. I had a terrible experience at Biggers Chevrolet, and Rockenbach Chevrolet was like a breath of fresh air.

If your looking for a new Chevrolet. I want everyone to go to Rockenbach Chevrolet. It's a great place to go, They are a very nice dealership.

He was very straight forward and worked with me on getting me the car I wanted. I ended up having to order an Equinox to get the exact features I wanted but during the whole time the car was on order, Jorge consistently tried to find me a car sooner than the delivery date. And he kept in contact with me the way I preferred, which was email.

Everyone I dealt with at Rockenbach was very straightforward and not in the slightest bit pushy like you get at some dealerships. At no point in the process did I feel like I was being pressured into buying something I did not want. This includes not only the car but additional services such as undercoating and extended warranty. They presented my options and did not try and sell me on the parts I did not want.

I would definitely recommend going to Rockenbach and Jorge Miranda to buy a new car.
