Let me make this brief.\nWent in for an inspection after waiting for 20 minutes they started. Was told brake light need to be replaced, after some thought I agreed. After yet another 20 min no one has even started working on my car. I asked a customer service agent named MAYA to help she said the mechanic could not be located. I asked to have another mechanic to start the repairs she said that since the prev MECHANIC TOUCHED THE CAR so noone else could. I said then get another mechanic to touch the car so we can begin the repair process. After that she said ""YOUR BEING VERY DIFFCULT"" I then asked to see a manager. After that the mechanic started the repairs which took exactly ONE HOUR to change a 3rd break light AMAZING.

I did a quick scan of their papers and then signed. After about a week went by I was filing the paperwork away I read the contract line by line I noticed that the con artist put in over $3000.00 of additional options, which I never asked for and I'm not even sure were ever done to my car. After calling them several times, I spoke to the first class dirtbag Mitch (Manager) who said their must of been a typo and that he would look into it. Never heard back from the dirtbag and I had to call them back. To this day got half the money back they robbed from me and still fighting to get the rest these con artists stole, THe only good thing is I have plenty of friends and have told all of them to avoid these con artists and will tell anyone else the same.

I will ask to cancel my extended policy. They are a bunch of crooks.The sales personels are ok but the service dept. is awful. The wanted to charge me 269 for a tire from a new car that was punctured dead center. Got it done for 10 dollars. They promised to refund the 27 dollars they charged to investigate my tire issue because they were wrong. NEMET it is not about the money. Make a promise, keep a promise. You guys are awful! I am sorry I bought the car from your dealership.

I bought a new car from them and regretted to doing business with such individuals that have no iota of truth in the fiber of their being. I wish the car companies they represent read some of these reviews.\n\nTheir salesmen will appear trustworthy, and then their finance guy is the most ferocious scammer you will ever meet. He will behave like he's the boss of everyone; just to let you know your business is not that important, he's only there to get your money and run you dry. When we tried to go to them to find out why they lied, they said sorry but you already signed the contract. I went with my friend to help her buy a car. The price was around $11,800, we agreed and left a deposit thinking fees and taxes would come to about 13,500 total at the most which the sales man agreed. Changed over insurance and everything before signing off on the car. Salesmen were nice guys, had fun, but when we came back to deal with the arrogant heavy finance guy with the glasses, it was hell. Somehow the car went from 11,777 to 18,000. $6000 extra????? He was so rude, told us its the only way we're leaving with the car, thats the price, just leave it, i dont care. I'm not selling it without all these add-ons, take it or leave it.Any questions seemed to piss him off and he got angry, smart and intimidating ,trying everything not to give us answers. He had her in tears and she just wanted to leave but she had already left a deposit and changed over the insurance. He added on bumper to bumper insurance for $2000 , $1475 for some intercept gps tracking thing,supposedly already installed, which the salesman didnt tell us about , aswell as some silver card. The sales manager got him to take off the $2000 eventually but we left unhappy and unexcited about the car that came to $15,640 in the end plus11.99% interest over 72 months, 1/4 tank of gas,an unfixed hood lever and gas release which we had to bring to a mechanic to find because it was buried so far back in the car.(explains the 1/4 tank of gas, they couldnt find it. (Comes to $20,000) \r\nWe're kicking ourselves for rushing into it. We should have asked more questions and not been intimidated by that poor excuse for a man. But if you saw him it'd make you feel better knowing what a miserable person he is. Thats karma enough for me. And i'm sure positive they just installed the intercept between the time we left the deposit and came back a week later.\r\n I dont recommend this place to anyone because of the nasty way we were treated and got screwed in the end but the sales guys were cool and had me believing they were honest but as we reviewed everything, they're all in on the con together.\r\n If you do end up there, dont take any crap because they will try intimidate you,do your research first , dont let them rush you, read and understand everything before signing, even when they try to make you feel stupid, check every single little thing in the car and i hope you dont have to deal with him.

While I was just browsing around getting ideas the salesman on the floor offered his assistance, even when I told him I wasnt sure he just joked 'who is' Then proceeded to tell me about each model I showed interest in. He was very helpful and was a major factor in my decision to buy a Volvo. It's the perfect car for me and my lifestyle and that's what I need. I went to nemet because I heard they had a huge selection, which is exactly what I needed. I buy used cars, always have. I don't see the point in buying new cars, but usually dealerships have very few 'good' used ones to choose from. I've been ripped off many times in the past so I was a bit jaded when I went to nemet. I had been through the process over a half a dozen times and I knew what to expect from car dealerships and I wasn't about to get taken advantage of (again). So I told them flat out I didn't want any surprises and they didn't even try, not once to pressure me into anything or play any of the usual games dealerships tend to play. They staff was friendly and knowledgeable, they showed me cars I could afford and they had tons! I was able to choose from more than 20 different cars, it was unreal. Usually I go to a dealership and there are maybe 4 cars at most that are in my price range and they are usually less than desirable. This was nothing like any other time. I purchased a 08' Hyundai Sonata and I am very pleased with it and the dealership. I will return for my next car for sure!

Nemet of Queens is the most dishonest dealer I have ever met.\r\nI had a leased 2007 Nissan Murano with three payments left. I went to Nemet Motors and I spoke to salesman Anthony Boucaud. He agreed that Nemet would pay off the last three payments on my Murano if I leased a new Altima Hybrid from them. I agreed and we settled on a payment of $365.00 a month with $3000.00 down payment. I gave my credit card to Anthony and he came back with a receipt for $3250.00. I asked him why the extra $250. and he said that it was for registration. I told him that we had agreed that the $3000.00 down payment would include all fees but he said that they could not change it and I should not worry. I then went in to see the Finance Manager Mr. ELWAY. He said to me that I should not pay the down payment as I would lose it if the car was stolen. I told Mr. ELWAY that I would have preferred to lease the vehicle with no down payment but the salesman would not agree to that. Mr. ELWAY then told me that he would return $2611.12 to me with $738.88 going for the fees and that my payments would go up to $449.88 per month. He destroyed the original paperwork and wrote up a new agreement. I was told that the $2511.12 would be returned to me in about five days, as they could not put in back on the credit card. I did receive it but after ten days. A week later I received an invoice from Nissan for a balance of $1200.00 for the last three payments on the Murano. I called Nissan and told them that Nemet had agreed to pay off this balance, but Nissan did not receive any payments. I was given the number to Nissan Complaints and I filed a complaint. I was given a Case Number and Nissan Corporation did try to intercede on my behalf. However, Nemet refused to honor their agreement with me saying that I had nothing in writing. I had a witness with me but they did not care. I now have payments for two cars and Mr. ELWAY is enjoying his Con Game of Bait and Switch while distracting you with talk about saving you money. Mr. ELWAY is the real scammer here, he lied to my face. I would never do business with them again.\r\n

Salesman gets $1,500.00 out of us as a sign of good faith to show his manager to get approval for the deal. Go into the Finance guy. Offers us 11.9% for 72 months. Not good. We tell him we want only a 60 month loan and my wife's Experian Credit Score is 722 (truth), please do better. He says; ""no way"" and gets angry. We then had no deal. I say, no problem, please return my $1,500.00 deposit. He says it won't even be processed. We go home, find out our account already debited the $1,500.00. Go back the next morning. Salesman leaps over his desk to rip from my hands, the only documentation I have from the evening before. I grab it back. Another salesman grabs it from me again, I grab it back again. It's ripped, but relevant info still intact. Sales manager comes out. Tells my wife and I to leave and he's not refunding anything. We go outside. Manager follows with another salesman. Words exchanged. My wife upset. Manager says he's going to ""wack me"" if my wife comes near him. Calmly ask again for my money. They assure me transaction will be reversed. B of A credits our account in the mean time. Find out last night, Nemet RESUBMITTED debit transaction. Again $1,500.00 taken by Nemet. Now I'm out the $1,500.00 plus bank fees, never bought a car from them (did by a nice 09, V6 Honda Accord right down the road though. 5.3% for 60 months), was subjected to games, manipulation, lies and violence. I have been victimized and harmed by Nemet and by extension Nissan. I'm lucky, I have a bank to help me recoup my deposit. What about the folks who give them cash, or their pay check. Nemet doesn't care, they know many people feel to intimidated to do anything. They want you to go to court. Most people don't know where to even begin. I own a 10 year old Volvo and had a Check Engine Light come on about a week ago.\r\n\r\nI brought it in to Nemet Motors on Hillside Avenue in Jamaica.\r\n\r\nThe service agent informed me of the fee to determine the problem was due regardless if the repair was done or not.\r\n\r\nI informed her I had repair insurance, and that I request that they contact GEICO to inform them of the repairs once determined and arrange for payment.\r\n\r\nI then received a call from GEICO that they were stating that the repairs would take 8 hours to complete in addition to the labor and materials. \r\n\r\nGeico then proceeded to inform me that the standard repar time fro this problem was 2.3 Hours for my car as listed in one of the accepted mechanics labor books, Mitchell's On Demand.\r\n\r\nGeico proceeded to contact other Volvo dealerships and found that they, agreeing with Geico, thought that to be a serious over estimation.\r\n\r\nGeico was however willing to listen to the technician in as much as any data, instructions, documentation or other proof of tasks that would encompass eight hours worth of time. At the point of questioning the technician walked away from the conversation and left the service agent holding the bag. There was nothing the service agent had to back up the hours requested. \r\n\r\nIn the end Geico agreed to pay for 5 hours, whioch Nemet begrudgingly accepted.\r\n\r\nNemet had the opportunity to get an extra 300$ on the repair, and when pushed for proof, accepted the lesser payment. \r\n\r\nThis is a prime example of how the public is really being ripped off by Nemet and others who practice this fraudulent means of business.\r\n\r\nI will be contacting Volvo Corporate and the Better Bus. Bureau about Nemet. Volvo Corporate does not have a policy for standardization of hours for repairs. They stated that each dealer is independently owned and operated.

we spoke with a pretty nice sales woman called Gina at beginning and got an agreement on the sale price for a nissan versa, but when we sat down with the Finance person, he tried all tricks to sale some expensive service package that we don't need. Then we talked to another finance guy who try to cheat us on tax and interest. When we found out they were dishonest on the price, the manager was suddenly become unhappy and tried to get rid of us ( seconds ago he was keeping smile at us). Finally, when I asked my paper work back, the manager's behavior was very cruel and unprofessional. I was very scared by the manager's behavior, what a terrible experience!

They did what it takes to earn my business. I stopped in to look at the new '08 Malibu, and for laughs I asked for a trade-in appraisal and a quote. They proposed a deal that was better than the Edmunds TMV on both the new purchase and the trade-in, and even beat my credit union on the financing terms.\r\n\r\nThey didn't have any inventory at the time, but promised me they would get me any car that I wanted within a week. I asked for a blue LTZ with all (both) options, sure enough they delivered in about a week. They did a near flawless delivery, the car was perfectly mint as it should be. \r\n\r\nMy one gripe was that they didn't fill the gas tank. Nonetheless I got the most amazing car I ever drove, and they gave me the best deal I could have found anywhere. They never once lied to me about anything, I loved the attitude. My salesman was Carlos Z. and he has earned my repeat business (if I EVER decide I can let go of this incredible Malibu).\r\n\r\nI have yet to experience their service department. My car is now 2.5 months old and has yet to need any kind of service. I am impressed with the fact that the Service Department is open Saturdays, and I like the fact that they are in front of a subway station. They do offer courtesy transportation but the subway is a nice easy way to go.\r\n\r\nAt no point dd they try to pad the deal with options or warranties I didn't want, they were forthright and honest and I'd be very pleased to get another car from them (but it will be a long time if I EVER get rid of this beautiful '08 Malibu).\r\n

This guy did not even bother to discuss our financing options AND he freely tacked on things we don't need. We left Nemet Motors unhappy and unsure of what just happened and took away the excitement of being new owners of a Nissan Truck. All they do is sell them stupid cars and rip you off!!!!!\r\nDo your research on other car dealers first before you go to Nemet Motors. Hey, afterall its your money.

They cheated me big time, adding on charges that were never discussed. They also did not give me the title of the car for 4 months and got cited by the DMV. I had to call dept of consumer affairs and I only got part of the money back.Buyer
