Hands down the WORST company I have ever dealt with! I had a teacher bus trip to Yankee game scheduled 3 months in advance. They called ten minutes before contracted time saying they Would be hour late. (Actually 2 hours late) we missed 3

US Coachways has terrible business practices, extremely deceiving pricing, and has been the most expensive, frustrating, and regrettable transportation choice my tour company has ever made! Our main complaint is as follows:

An account manager at US Coachways quoted our company the price of $6,105 to charter a bus for one week. We asked her multiple times, in various phrasings, if there were any additional costs and fees. We were told that the ONLY costs in addition to this price would be lodging for the driver, gratuity, and parking costs throughout the week. Because US Coachways beat the price of a competing company, we chose their service. In numerous follow-up emails and phone calls, US Coachways assured us that we had a bus reserved at the price they had quoted us. They went so far as to tell us that there was a specific vehicle associated with our ticket.

Three days before our trip departed, we received a phone call from a sales rep we had never spoken with before informing us that we did not, in fact, have a vehicle reserved at the stated price. US Coachways could get us a vehicle for $1,585 more than what we had agreed upon, but ONLY if we decided within the next 5 minutes, because the person calling us was getting ready to go home for the night. Needless to say, we were stuck. We're trying to work with manager to get a refund of $1,585, but our most recent calls have not been returned. Do yourselves a favor and stay miles away from this company!

You will have no one to blame but yourself should you hire this company. They take reservations but you have to take it upon yourself to confirm, check and recheck. Their customer service is nonexistent. They do a lot of sub contracting which lets them off the hook for no shows, broken down buses, etc. A great event was ruined by this company and unfortunately it involved a bus filled with 12 year old boys who were left stranded until after midnight on a major interstate. The driver had no flares or emergency equipment and the kicker....he RAN OUT OF GAS!!! Luckily, we had a police officer on board who took it upon himself to call for police support. Again, if you decide to book with this company, you can kick yourself later...consider yourself warned.

I would give 0 stars, if it were an option. Over a month ago, I reserved a shuttle bus to use for my wedding guests. They sent a quote, I approved it and signed a contract. I will not be ever soliciting the services of this company nor recommending it. We made our reservation in Feb and everything seemed to be perfect. Since our group was going to be visiting NY I was very pleased that the company was in NY therefore expecting to have a driver that knew their way around. Things started to fall apart when I called a couple of weeks before our trip and asked to see the bus depot or an example of the bus that we would be using for our trip in person. I received the run around and ended being yelled at and treated like a child for making such a "ridiculous" request. On the day of our trip the bus was 2 1/2 hours late due to dispatch messing up the itinerary in the system. The company that provided our transportation was subcontracted locally and turned out that the driver knew nothing of our itinerary, trip plans, or navigating the city of NY. This resulted in serious delays! Though we were told that tolls were included in our fee, the bus driver said that they did not know anything about that and required us to pay them. When I called dispatch to get the issue resolved I was met with another yelling, unprofessional employee (Marty) who did absolutely nothing. I was later told by Donna Yehia that I would be reimbursed but our trip ended a month ago and I still haven't received reimbursement. Our trip was over shadowed by constant lies, confusion, and unprofessionalism. I am amazed that this company has managed to survive!!

I had a terrible experience with this company. DO NOT USE! I was fooled by their strong website and online presence, and by the responsiveness of their sales staff. In fact, I went with them even though they were more expensive than other quotes I received. Once I booked, my experience went downhill fast.\n\nI reserved two buses to transport guests from two separate hotels to my wedding venue. Some of the problems that I encountered:\n\n1. Each bus showed up late. One bus driver didn't have directions to get from the hotel to the wedding venue. One of my guests had to use his iPhone to guide the driver.\n\n2. At the end of the night when the buses were supposed to shuttle guests from the venue back to the hotels, they both left before the appointed time for the last trip, stranding about 30 guests at the wedding venue.\n\n3. When we called the dispatch number to get the buses to come back for the stranded guests, the dispatcher at first couldn't locate our reservation, and then when he found it, he couldn't reach the bus drivers!\n\n4. The process to confirm the buses was a nightmare, The sales person assured me that ""everything was set."" Since it was my wedding, I wanted to double check. The ""project manager"" assigned to me first didn't respond, then it turned out that they actually only had 1 bus reserved for me. The project manager told me that she would take care of it, but each time I called back, it still wasn't done. It took about 10 or 15 calls over the course of two weeks until the night before the wedding for them to finally confirm they had a bus for me. It wasn't the school bus that I wanted, but they gave me a free upgrade to two mini buses. It was very stressful to have it go to the last minute, and with all the details involved in wedding planning, a totally unnecessary distraction.\n\nOne significant problem I think with the company is that the customer keeps getting handed off. The sales person was great - emailed me back right away, including over the weekend. But then the project manager wasn't as responsive, and couldn't really make anything happen. She kept checking with a separate team which actually manages the buses, and she couldn't lock down the confirmation (even though she kept telling me she would confirm right away). Then, during the actual job, a separate dispatcher is supposed to be available - but as I said above, they couldn't actually reach the bus drivers.\n\nIn summary, l had a terrible, stressful, experience with USCoachways. I wish I had read the other reviews of the company on Yelp before using them, since my experience seems to be fairly typical.

She got my bus back. I don't know how, but she did. I was a little hesitate since I was booking a corporate event and I did not want to leave a bad impression with our clients. However, that was not the case at all! Their customer service was extremely professional and responsive. I made several changes to my reservation and they were always quick to respond and accomondate us. The bus arrived on time, it was clean and the driver was courteous. Everyone had a great time and there were no complaints. I now have a bus company I can use for all my corporate events and will definitely recommend to my coworkers!

I was a little hesitate since I was booking a corporate event and I did not want to leave a bad impression with our clients. However, that was not the case at all! Their customer service was extremely professional and responsive. I made several changes to my reservation and they were always quick to respond and accomondate us. i'm honestly not even giving this company a star, but its required, they don't deserve it. For 3 months i have been playing a 24 passenger party bus for our senior ball. The ball is now a month away, 2 days ago before we handed in all of our money we called our representative, Nicholas, and he said everything was set and to hand in the money. So we did, today in school, i get a call, ""we cant find a bus for you"" they refunded our money....but if they couldn't find a bus why didn't they tell us that in the first place. Now i have less than a month to organize another party bus for 24 teenagers. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

i'm honestly not even giving this company a star, but its required, they don't deserve it. For 3 months i have been playing a 24 passenger party bus for our senior ball. The ball is now a month away, 2 days ago before we handed in all of our money we called our representative, Nicholas, and he said everything was set and to hand in the money. So we did, today in school, i get a call, ""we cant find a bus for you"" they refunded our money....but if they couldn't find a bus why didn't they tell us that in the first place. Now i have less than a month to organize another party bus for 24 teenagers. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

She took excellent care of me and my group. Even in the follow up after our charter, she was there for me! \r\n\r\nThe bus arrived on time at our pick up point; and it was clean, and modern. We had the greatest driver as he had to navigate from Boston, through Massachusetts and Connecticut making two additional pick up stops along the way in a horrendous snow storm and got us to NYC safely. I was surprised to read some of the negative reviews posted here as they do not emulate our experience at all. Their drivers have always been very professional and we have always had great feedback from the passengers.

Later, we spoke with one representative and she quoted the original price. After 10-12 days, we received another phone call from another representative, that price changed . We agreed to the price and sent our credit card information. We received confirmation from one representative. Then we got another call from a different representative that they would not release the bus if we did not send the credit card information. We sent the credit card authorization three separate times. Two days before our event at 5:30 pm, we received an email stated that the bus will not be released without the credit card information. We received confirmation from two different representatives that they received the information yet we still got this email at the end of the day. We were able to reach a representative the day before our event to verify that they received the information. The day of our event, the bus arrived late and when we called customer service they were horribly rude and unhelpful

This was our first time using US Coachways for our group visit to New York. Never again. We used US Coachways for 4 days, with problems incurred on the first 3 days.\n\nDay 1 - Airport transfer: The driver did not hold keys to open the baggage compartment for an Airport transfer! The group of 40 had to squeeze in the back of the coach while the baggage was loaded in the front section. Dangerous. The driver was unable to find his way from JFK Airport to the hotel, asked directions from locals on the street.\n\nDay 2 - the Driver was good and tried to be helpful, however the coach airconditioning was faulty. On a hot New York day! It was cooler off the coach than on the coach. Very unpleasant for the group.\n\nDay 3 - The coach arrived 1.5 hours late causing the group to miss a scheduled tour. The coach was delayed as the driver had been stopped for a maintenance check by Police and did not pass the inspection!!!!\nNEVER AGAIN US COACHWAYS

I even expressed my concern in my Daughter and her friends being supervised and she offered to Chaperone the event for an additional fee that US Coachways offers ( albeit a Very small fee) And my daughter told me that they had a fantastic night out. They even invited Karen to Eat Breakfast with them after the After-Prom. So she could not be nearly as rude as the above poster ""posters"" claim. Having said that, I think you should keep your anti-New York bias to yourself. We New Yorkers have the Freedom Tower Complex, Statue of Liberty, Wall Street etc.. Baltimore apparently has people like you. Now this is a site that people depend on for honest reviews like me so please don't post. Unfortunately I have no choice but to give this company 1 star, if 0 was an option that's what I would have picked.\r\n\r\nMy fiance had his bachelor party the other night and the guys contracted for the 24 passenger party bus. Before the night got started he called US Coachways to see if they could change the itinerary to go to Annapolis instead of Baltimore. Karen (the dispatcher) immediately turned on her New York attitude and yelled at them for even ASKING if they could do such a crazy thing. She said that once you set your itinerary, you cannot change anything about it! She treated him like he was her child, cursed at him, hung up on him twice, and a pleasant word never left her mouth. He said it didn't make sense that they couldn't change where they wanted to go because they had the bus for 5 hours. She yelled, ""ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT MY COMPANY THIS WAY?!!? I'M THE BOSS, I'M IN CHAAAAGGE, NOT YOU!"" They let that go... \r\n\r\nTHEN, the ""party bus"" shows up.... they sent out a shuttle bus that you would take to the airport! WHO SENDS A SHUTTLE BUS OUT TO A BACHELOR PARTY?!?!\r\n\r\nMy fiance's cousin called the company several times and again had to speak to Karen. Right from the start, Karen was extremely rude and demeaning, saying things like ""Listen honey"" sarcastically, and ""I'M IN CHARGE!"" Apparently there was a mechanical issue with the party bus, so they contracted with another company to send out one of theirs and the other company screwed up and sent out a shuttle. When she called the other company to see what happened, they said they NEVER would have agreed to send out a party bus for what we paid ($1100) because they charge $2400 for theirs. Not only that, but it was prom weekend so they had none available. So we were lied to! \r\n\r\nI tried calling and speaking to Karen (unfortunately for us she was the only one available the whole day). She answered the phone ""HELLO?!!?!"" and I had to ask who I was speaking to to make sure I had the same person. Her rude tone of voice was worse than hearing nails on a chalkboard. She said that we would NOT be receiving a refund because we are using their services even though it wasn't the right bus. If I wanted to cancel now, I could receive partial refund but still had to pay for the time they were on the bus and then the bus would leave them. She kept reminding me that we had a binding contact, to which I would remind her that in our ""binding contact"" we had a deal for the PARTY BUS. \r\n\r\nI got off the phone with Karen and was able to find a LOCAL company who said he could pick the guys up after he dropped prom kids off. But by that time it would have been 1-2am and the bars would have been closing. The guys said don't worry about it, but it goes to show you that working with smaller companies can pay off.\r\n\r\nKaren- if you are reading this- please do humankind a favor and get a new job where you don't have to speak to anyone. There are plenty of nice unemployed people in this country that need your job. Perhaps you could be a janitor or a dishwasher or one of those people who changes reels in a movie theater?\r\n\r\nTo make a long story short, the guys who went had to put up $100 each for a shuttle bus and we haven't gotten our money back yet! Besides the money issue which would only make things a LITTLE better, my fiance's bachelor party was RUINED. His once in a lifetime party was absolutely ruined by a big national company who only cares about making money and chooses to hire horrible dispatchers. Do yourself a favor and hire local companies who CARE about you and your events. Especially if you are having a wedding, PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE!

Unfortunately I have no choice but to give this company 1 star, if 0 was an option that's what I would have picked.\r\n\r\nMy fiance had his bachelor party the other night and the guys contracted for the 24 passenger party bus. Before the night got started he called US Coachways to see if they could change the itinerary to go to Annapolis instead of Baltimore. Karen (the dispatcher) immediately turned on her New York attitude and yelled at them for even ASKING if they could do such a crazy thing. She said that once you set your itinerary, you cannot change anything about it! She treated him like he was her child, cursed at him, hung up on him twice, and a pleasant word never left her mouth. He said it didn't make sense that they couldn't change where they wanted to go because they had the bus for 5 hours. She yelled, ""ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT MY COMPANY THIS WAY?!!? I'M THE BOSS, I'M IN CHAAAAGGE, NOT YOU!"" They let that go... \r\n\r\nTHEN, the ""party bus"" shows up.... they sent out a shuttle bus that you would take to the airport! WHO SENDS A SHUTTLE BUS OUT TO A BACHELOR PARTY?!?!\r\n\r\nMy fiance's cousin called the company several times and again had to speak to Karen. Right from the start, Karen was extremely rude and demeaning, saying things like ""Listen honey"" sarcastically, and ""I'M IN CHARGE!"" Apparently there was a mechanical issue with the party bus, so they contracted with another company to send out one of theirs and the other company screwed up and sent out a shuttle. When she called the other company to see what happened, they said they NEVER would have agreed to send out a party bus for what we paid ($1100) because they charge $2400 for theirs. Not only that, but it was prom weekend so they had none available. So we were lied to! \r\n\r\nI tried calling and speaking to Karen (unfortunately for us she was the only one available the whole day). She answered the phone ""HELLO?!!?!"" and I had to ask who I was speaking to to make sure I had the same person. Her rude tone of voice was worse than hearing nails on a chalkboard. She said that we would NOT be receiving a refund because we are using their services even though it wasn't the right bus. If I wanted to cancel now, I could receive partial refund but still had to pay for the time they were on the bus and then the bus would leave them. She kept reminding me that we had a binding contact, to which I would remind her that in our ""binding contact"" we had a deal for the PARTY BUS. \r\n\r\nI got off the phone with Karen and was able to find a LOCAL company who said he could pick the guys up after he dropped prom kids off. But by that time it would have been 1-2am and the bars would have been closing. The guys said don't worry about it, but it goes to show you that working with smaller companies can pay off.\r\n\r\nKaren- if you are reading this- please do humankind a favor and get a new job where you don't have to speak to anyone. There are plenty of nice unemployed people in this country that need your job. Perhaps you could be a janitor or a dishwasher or one of those people who changes reels in a movie theater?\r\n\r\nTo make a long story short, the guys who went had to put up $100 each for a shuttle bus and we haven't gotten our money back yet! Besides the money issue which would only make things a LITTLE better, my fiance's bachelor party was RUINED. US Coachways is the WORST company I have EVER dealt with. I hired them to take 16 teenagers to prom and 2 days BEFORE the prom, I called to get the drivers name and number. I was then told they DID NOT have any of my information in their computer. There was NO reserved limo for these kids. Even though I had a thread of 22 emails back and forth to their representatives, INCLUDING a contract, they continued to say there was no information. There were 9 proms in our area so I was unable to find another limo. They were unable to help us even though they are a nationwide company. So MY kids had to pay for THEIR mistake. I then asked for Christine Davila's supervisors name and the owner of the company's name. She said she was the top supervisor, no one was above her, and told me they do not give out the owners name.I then said, I am a client and you wont give it to me? She said you are not a client as I don't have any of your information in my system. Wow. I would NEVER use this company again, nor recommend them.\nEdit - Delete

I found US Coachways to be very reliable and professional. They have a huge selection of vehicles, and I was put in touch directly with a person to speak to about the details of the event I was planning. The driver was very punctual and polite, the event was definitely a success! I would use US Coachways again for planning any large group outing.

Recently rented a 24 person party bus for a friends 30th birthday. It was an absolute blast! US Coachways made it so easy for us to have a good time. They showed up 15 minutes early and helped us load the bus with all our party supplies. The driver (can't remember his name unfortunately) was so friendly and was only concerned about us having a good time. He took us all over Manhattan and Brooklyn and stopped anywhere we wanted. I can't wait to do this again. Thanks for making my friends 30th birthday a night we will never forget! Cheers!
