Don't waste your time with this dealer if you're not local!! I'm from out of state so once I put a deposit down to hold the car, I cannot get a reach of any sales reps, they don't return your calls. They also tried to scam me to put more deposit money down when it was 2 days away from flying in. I went through 3 different reps, and even through their online chat. Got me no where.
After my credit application, they say approved, but can't even get me my simple rate. Sent me in circles and say someone from the finance department will call back but never does. They pissed me off when the sales rep hung up on me, so I rather lose my deposit and bought a car from another NY dealer instead. Didn't even bother to stop in after all the scam and run-around they did to me.
Don't deal with these thieves over the phone. They will say anything to get you in and once they take your money, they don't care about you!!
Lying, cheating, backstabbing, scum. The worst of the worst. After emailing with the sales department manager several times we settled on a price for a specific car they had. His email to me was "we accept your offer." I even called and spoke to him personally. When I drove all the way from Albany to Manhattan to drive the car and pay for it, it was suddenly "no longer available." and every other car was no longer available for that price. But we can sell you another car for more money. Weeks later they were still advertising the car they agreed to sell me when the sales manager "accepted your offer." I would not trust these people, I would not buy a tricycle from them unless you want to be lied too, cheated and screwed. Stay away from nissan of manhattan.
I wrote this same review in yelp and posting exactly the same... Please do not go to this dealer unless u paying in cash all together for your auto.
So I needed a car desperate and I was looking for a good deal... I went to this dealer because the car I saw online was very cheap compared to every where else. First this is that the internet price includes discounts that people are not qualified for - not for ""reg joes"". My associate was very kind and patient --- KUDOS to him - Tegh... but the financial manager was the one that really screwed me over. He knew how desperate I was for a car as I needed it to commute to work and school. My credit score was at 660 during that time (sept 2010). He raped me with an 18% interest rate and said that would be the cheapest they can go cause I was about to fall into the fair credit by 20 points. He also added some type of insurance to the loan without my consent and made my loan 2000 more than what it was suppose to be. I was looking to pay bet 200-275 and he made my loan 360. I refinanced my car through another dealer with worst credit score now and was approved to a 10% interest which pisses me off cause when I spoke with the financial manager of this new place he said with a 660 I would had been approved for 5% especially during 2010 when they were really looking for loans. NISSAN finances through NMAC their own finance company so they try to steal people silly. Unless you are paying for your vehicle entirely or you have excellent credit that they have to kiss your feet I recommend to you to stay away from these blood suckers.
What really makes me give them a 1 star is that during my purchase they promised me a second key to my car and that during installation of alarm I can come and pick up. When I came for install the key never appeared and they come up with a key control car opener to be my second key. I tried calling manager to discuss this and manager evaded my calls. I tested things out by calling one day from in front of the store and supodsedly manager had just stepped out -- I go in and he was sitting in his desk (EVADING MY CALL) I walk up to him and rip him a new which still didn't work cause I never got my key... GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE HUH
Constant BS.
I ask about the car in the ad and mia says"" oh you dont want that it has no radio"" BAIT AND SWITCH?
I arrive with a competitors ad which they will meet. (radio in this one)
When they bring the deal out its $2200 down, not the $2100 in the ad.
I arrive to pick up the car when the salesman ( danny) calls to say its ready. 2 hrs later it took a screaming fit to get the car prepped.
AVOID THESE GUYS!!!!!

I was so happy that I was treated with respect! I love these people! They made me feel very welcomed, they are so cool and down to earth. I went to the bay ridge location and I was so irritated with those people, I left with a brand new car last year but was lied to and treated like another number not a person. I went to Nissan Of manhattan to bring that car back to buy another one and was not rushed into buying a new car. I wanted to change my mind on a car I had already sign papers for that day and Tegh(my salesperson) took his time with me, loved that. Micheal(the manager of the whole place) was very nice and loved how he treated me like I was buying a Bentley, lol. Thanks Bridget(salesperson) for your welcoming voice that told me to come and that I would not regret it. I didn't.
this was the second vehicle i leased from manhattan nisson . sales people are great they related to my needs and price point perfectly . the service dept is always on time when they say your car will be done being serviced . the entire dealership switch board to service bends over to accomadate the customer . i have been leasing all types of cars since 1967 and no dealership has trated me better
I had an excellent experience in my new car purchase with James at Manhattan Nissan. Everyone was friendly and helpful in making this new car purchase. Overall I was very satisfied in my dealing and would recommend this dealership hands down as a dealership to make your next purchase.
I was surprised by seeing 5 stars rating about this dealership. I believe these people are related to this dealer. My experience of purchasing a new car was HORRIBLE. At the beginning, they are nice of course. But after you purchased, I could not believe if I was dealing with the same people. No after care. No call back. No response. Never have experienced such customer service. Do Not go this dealer. This is a suggestion from my experience with my real feeling that I don't want other people have my experience.
I want to thank you for such a great experience at Nissan of Manhattan. When we first came in last Sunday, it was just to take a look. We had a ""not so great"" experience at another Nissan dealer in Connecticut. Tegh greeted us and was amazingly knowledgeable about the Juke. Angelo chimed in sealed the deal. We picked up the car last night. Of course there were six million questions and everyone did their best to make us comfortable with the vehicle. This was such a great transaction and I will be sure to tell everyone about Tegh and Angelo. Please make it your business to commend them for their great demeanor. They treated us as if we were the most important customers in the world and that the dealership was theirs. Nissan of Manhattan is lucky to have them as employees.
Hope your weekend was great. I wanted to thank you for the great truck. Im really enjoying it. My friend is having a baby and is looking for a new truck. She likes my truck. I highly recommended you.
I had a very nice experience buying my 2011 Nissan Rogue at Manhattan Nissan,it was the second car i bought there. The General manager Mike Crociata couldn't have been nicer and more professional, and his staff likewise. From the time i walked in till i drove out which wasn't long it was a pleasure.I would reccomend Manhattan Nissan to anybody.
Very professional yet friendly at the same time.
Enjoyable and honest. Knowledgeable of the product.
James was very helpful, understanding and patient throughout the entire experience. He even provided me with a slice of pizza during the wait.
Overall it was a pleasant, straight forward and in walking out a happy customer.

Nissan of Manhattan is excellent!
Everyone was excellent. Ben did exactly what he said on the phone. James was fantastic at showing me the car and getting me on the road quickly.
Great seller (Rodney) - nice, knowledgeable and efficient. Best i've seen in all search for a car.
We just leased a 2010 Murano from Nissan Manhattan. The initial sales person who was assigned ot us was not super helpful, but when we complained, the Manager, Richie immediately stepped in and helped up get the car and deal we wanted. We are not necessarily the easiest customers to deal with in that we were pretty demanding on price and features. Richie never took it personally and worked with us over the course of 3 weeks until their were programs available that got us to where we needed to be.All in all, we had a great experience here and would recommend it to a friend.BTW--Love our Murano, it is a dream to drive...very happy
I just arrived in New York and wanted to get myself a used vehicle. I wandered around the neighborhood and pop into the Nissan of Manhattan the other day. James patiently showed me around and gave me very detailed explanation on my inquiry of a Versa. Before I left, upon my request, I was also provided with a copy of the profile of the car and the records. Though I did not buy it finally, I felt it is nice experience working with James and Nissan of Manhattan.
I just left with my brand new Nissan Murano 2010. Cindy assisted me and my wife to make our choice and she's been very helpful and profesional. Frank at the finance dpt, worked really hard to structure the best deal in term of rate and monthly payment and gain our business this way.
Nissan cars are affordable and reliable and Nissan of Manhattan is a safe place to get one.
I bought the 2010 Nissan Rogue, new, and love the car. The sales person, Cindy Rivera, was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, responsive, and actually made the shopping experience fun. Emmanuel, the finance guy, was also great. Just one thing to watch out for is added expenses, such as bank fees, transportation fees, etc. Have those conversations before purchasing the vehicle. Overall, Cindy and Emmanuel were incredibly helpful and pleasant to work with. Good luck with the car shopping.
We had a deal that went awfully wrong with Bay Ridge Nissan. So we went to closest Nissan to try and work with other dealers. When we came to dealership, they actually were pretty nice but not compromising on price at all and we settled for price. When we came there we explained the whole previous situation and bank etc. The sales person said ""I dont see how there should be a problem like this"" We left and called the sales person within 3 hours to see what the bank said, at 5:45 on Saturday (they close at 6) the sales person lied and said that bank wants more paperwork... and at 6:05 called us back and said that NMAC gave same deal as other dealership. Then we see a commercial that Bay Ridge Nissan and Nissan of Manhattan are sister stores.... when my boyfriend went to get the deposit they screwed with his brain a bit more gave bigger number but he walked away from the deal. The refund was due on 07/21/09 and would take 48 hours to show on credit card. Today I called because we have great problems collecting the deposit with Bay Ridge Nissan so I called and was told that Sherice has just put the refund through today 07/23/09 and will show within 48 hours. So they are already 2 days late!!! If I had a sister like Bay Ridge Nissan (go read reviews) I would seriously disown her, or at least do as promissed yourself.
Pros: a tad bit nicer than Bay Ridge Nissan
Cons: liars anyway
