I'm a mother of three who has been shopping at Piazza's for over 12 years. Reviewers who complain about Piazza's prices haven't done their homework. I compiled a spreadsheet of all the items I purchase on a regular basis and recorded prices over a two month period at Safeway (Mt. View), Piazza's, and Target. As expected, Target had the lowest prices on bulk items. What surprised me was that Piazza's and Safeway were almost exactly the same on non-bulk items!!

Piazza's is a great place to shop. The produce and meats are good quality, the layout is easy to understand, there is a wide range of choices, including gourmet and organic/special-diet items (naturally pricier than regular items - just like every other grocery store), and the clerks are fast and friendly.

If the prices are the same, wouldn't you rather shop at a place that feels like home, rather than a Wal-Mart clone?

This place is just like a Whole Foods. If Whole Foods wasn't expensive enough as it is, this place is pricier. I think they have more items than Whole Foods though, but all organic and natural which is great because there are some items I want as organic that other supermarkets just don't have.
