AWFUL DO NOT LIVE HERE its not worth the convenience or anything. The management is awful. If I get a package it's in a room where they take forever to find it and even if I have the slip from the ups or FedEx they always try to say that

For your safety, health, and sanity please stay away from these apartments! My complaints and disappointments are beyond count. Most recently I am without air conditioning. Last year it took 14 days to get my AC fixed without a single apology from the staff. This year it has been 7 days with no end in sight. Thankfully I will be leaving in 2 months. Please rent anywhere but here and you will not regret it!

Please take this as a caution and stay away from this place. If you really wanna get in here becoz u cannot get anywhere else then maybe this is for you becoz u will be treated as if u were in the hood. Families stay away. What makes this place really worse on top of all is the management.they deal with so many illegals there, they think they have some kind of power over u after u sign the lease. trust me this is the wost

I repeat, do not move in to this place or you will be making a HUGE mistake and regret it. I am updating this post after I just got hung up on after calling them.

If you are having thoughts about moving in to Core Riverbend apartments or town homes, take in to consideration what I have to say below.

I live in the area in Core Riverbend where you will find the town homes. Before first moving here in May, the leasing agents have a lot of ammunition to hype the place up. They have a mansion of an office, 2 nice swimming pools, racquetball rooms, and a weight room. These things are really nice, but they're only nice because they are the only things that Core Riverbend puts their money into!

While reading the problems I have below, keep in mind that I pay almost $1100 a money for this DUMP of a place!

I have MAJOR mold (green and black) and mildew problems. The entire maintenance crew is incompetent and does a half --- job fixing the simplest of tasks. After calling in, it took them 2 months and 3 failed attempts to fix a leak in my bathroom. Because of this leak, it added on to the even worse MOLD problem here! They ended up putting a whole new vanity in for my bathroom sink, simply covering up all of the nasty mold and rotting wood underneath. Now every time I open a cabinet in my bathroom sink, I get a nice whiff of wet mold and mildew.

Worms, ants, and other bugs come in from the bathrooms, the kitchen, all of the unsealed locations outside, the floors, the doors, and the windows. The bug man supposedly comes and sprays but it's impossible to get rid of the issue because these places are so OLD.

My fireplace above my roof is leaning at about a 10 degree angle. I swear it gets worse and worse each month. I am calling the Building Inspections Agency of Indianapolis this week to have them come look at the problem to see if I'm in danger of the fireplace caving in on me.

Almost every single closet door in the place doesn't work. The tracks are all broken and they all need replaced. Every time I've called maintenance about them they come and say it's fixed and the door breaks again after opening it once. I have lost all hope and have pretty much given up on the entire maintance crew.

All of the kitchen appliances are ----. They are all old and outdated, the dish washer barely works, the cabinets break all of the time, the refrigerator is tiny and old, and the stove top pieces are all bent causing pots and pans to slide off the stove when cooking and also causes uneven cooking. You'll find all of the great little annoyances if you choose to live here and decide not to pay the additional $250-$300 a month for new appliances! Personally, paying $1071/month I feel that the appliances should be at least somewhat nice considering the conditions of the rest of my place.

The garages outside are ridden with raccoons because Riverbend doesn't keep the garage units maintained.

The house and my clothes smell like smoke and no one who lives here smokes.

The leasing agent promised a $200 gift certificate to me upon moving in which I never got and never will get. My main concern about this is that they lied to me and when I asked them about it they say they can't help because the agent "unfortunately" doesn't work here anymore.

Finally, Core River does not care about you or your concerns as a resident. All they care about is milking you for your money so they can put it all in to making themselves look better. There are much better places around here that are much nicer and won't put as big of a hole in your wallet. Unforetunely, I have to put up with this place for 9 more months. All of this leads me to tell you: Don't live at Core Riverbend Apartments. I repeat, DO NOT LIVE AT CORE RIVERBEND APARTMENTS!

My experiance while at Core River Bend wasnt bad. The only problem was the time it took to take care of maintanence. My problem was when it comes to moving out. We gave the correct notice, but they charged us for extra days. They said they push your move out day to the next closest monday after your lease is up because it makes it easier for them...it also makes it more expensive for the renter.

My experience at the apartments wasnt bad. It took along time for them to fix things, and to get them fixed correctly. Beware of the end of the lease. Even if you give your 60 days notice there will be unexpected charges. Most of the staff was friendly. It was the unexpected charges because of the "Policies" that pissed me off.

My roommate lived here a year before we moved in together and then we lived there for 2 years. For all the amenities you get and being in Castleton, it was the best deal in the area. Maintenance was great! We would call in the morning and they were out that afternoon. Full size washer and dryer in the apartment, fireplace in every apartment, plus a carport with my apartment at no extra charge and HUGE, I am not exaggerating, HUGE closets. In the spare bedroom of the smaller two bedroom apartment, the closet is probably 10-12 feet deep! I loved living there. I really liked the management team; they were always so nice and helpful. They remembered my name every time I came in. Just a great place to live and close to everything, Castleton, Fishers, 96th street. Perfect. I would highly recommend Riverbend. Best deal for your money, that's for sure.
