The only Vet on Staten Island that I would take my loved pet to.
Hospital is spotless - Doctor is wonderful and caring and takes time to explain what is going. I would give this Hospital 10 stars.
This is the only place I would take my pet to on staten island

I took my dog for ears exam: the receptionist, the doctor, the assistant doctor were genuinly kind and very friendly. Doctor was professional, genuene, i coudn't wish for a better one.The place is very clean. I was seen quickly, even arrived earlier. Easy to find. I felt there at ease. I had a promotional first free visit( so the visit fee was waiwed) Greatful for that.
Few clinics i visited prior also were high in price, and unfortinately this place is not an exeption. Being in Staten Island on Bay str. i expected a bit lower rates than let's say in Park Slope (upscale neibourhood in Brooklyn). They did a Cytology ear (to look at ear debree under microscope) it was 51.40$, where in Park Slope Brooklyn it was 40$. The medication is also a on a higher end: they charged me Clavamox tablets 28 of them 49$ vs33$ in pet meds online. For Rimadyl 5 tablets I paid 23.40$ vs 5$ in Drfostersmith(web for pet meds). For Mometamax i paid 36.50$ vs 21.99$ in Drfostersmith. However service itself was great!

My friend recommended that go to rosebank animal hospital. I brought my pup there recently and I had a wonderful experience. Everyone there was very kind and the hospital was clean. I was seen right away and the staff spent a lot of time with me and my new pup. I definitely will return and recommend them to my friends.

I brought my dogs to these people for more than 20 years. The business changed hands and has gone downhill. When I couldn't get a urine sample from my dog, the vet said to me. "I will take him downstairs and get it from him" His urine was perfect but within 12 hours he had a raging bladder infrction with urine running down his legs. Did she use non-sterile equipment? I paid a big bill for the mysterious illness. Even after 20 years of business, my dog sitter took him there for an emergency visit while I was on vacation. They refused to see him without my credit card. I haven't been back except to have his records sent elsewhere.

It is a shame when Big business takes over, this seems to be the case where The office Manager now is the Boss of this small Town Operations that has not learned the valuable lesson " The customers always right." If you want to be abused by all means go to this Vet, The manager is in charge and not the quiet reserved Doctor who is very capable

They were great I hope the pressure of VCA doesn't make them buckle over and start the overbilling game.\r\nThis was a great vet office I hope the owner is still there, but it is hard when the big corp take over they only pay the vets comission on each bill.
