Just barely satisfactory. Nothing terrible, but nothing great either. Since all we needed was shots, we continued going, until I realized how high their prices were and that our dog was getting older and might need some additional care in the future. We switched to Power Road Animal Hospital and they have been amazing. Our dog DID get sick, and boy, was I glad that it was Power Road who took such good care of him.

Although I've heard plenty of good things about the VCA clinic in Apache Junction, my own experience has been very frustrating.\r\n\r\nMy cat's appointment started late and ran very long. We spent nearly two hours at the clinic, but only about 20 minutes was spent interacting with the staff. The rest was spent waiting in an exam room, holding my cat so he wouldn't poke his nose into a suspicious wet spot on the floor.\r\n\r\nOur time with the staff felt more like a sales call than a visit to the veternarian. The proposed treatments and tests totaled more than twice what I expected to pay and contained several procedures that were only loosely associated with the reason for our visit. I felt pressured and very uncomfortable.\r\n\r\nI declined about half of the proposed procedures, including a $200 ""wellness test"", and am now awaiting test results. Yesterday I received a voicemail that they are ready, but I haven't been able to speak with him since then. I've spoken twice with the facility's receptionist, but I can't get the results without speaking directly to the doctor. Now I'm waiting for a call back. Since the office closed an hour ago, I'm guessing that I won't hear from them until after the weekend.\r\n\r\nOn the whole, my experience with this clinic has left me uncomfortable over their sales techniques and anxious over the state of my pet's health. Hopefully, once he returns to health, I will feel better about the experience. But for now, I'm very unhappy with VCA Apache Junction.
