they are listed in the yellopages as servicing our address, i called, got hung up on, and called back. turns out they dont service my location. what a waste of time.

I would never use this company again and I would suggest that you DO NOT either. I have a service contract with an insurance company and they used Rush Appliance. The insurance company made special notes to Rush to contact us for the following day at our work and cell phones to schedule an appt.

I did not receive a call so I called Rush Appliance and they told me that they called the home number and no one answered but that they are very busy and they couldn't come out for 2 more days. Spoke to the manager and he explained that it was an error and no one read the special notes that the insurance co. wrote for contact information. Everything in the fridge and freezer was totally lost.

We tried to schedule the appointment after 3pm for the service (they state on the website that they specialize in late day service and when I asked for an after 3pm service they said I could request but it is up to the technician. We both work and would have to schedule to leave work.

On 7/23 The service man arrives and shows us the problem and says he will order the part. He said it would take a few days.

On 7/29 I hadn??t heard anything so I called the office. They told me the part didn??t come in but they were expecting it that day and they would call me when it does.

On 7/30 I called the office to check on the part again and they said it still hadn??t come in and they would call me.

8/3 I called the office to see if the part came in and was told that it had not. I asked to speak to the manager and she put me on hold and came back and said ??oh the part came in this morning?. I asked to schedule it for that day and she said she couldn??t. I again asked to speak to the manager and he said that the technicians were scheduled for the day and it would have to be the next day. I again was unable to schedule after 3pm for the next day so we told our work that we would have to leave to meet the service man.

8/4 I was told that I would receive a call by 9:30 for the schedule appt. and I did not hear from anyone. I called the office and the appt. was NOT scheduled. The paper work was put in ??waiting for parts bin? and not schedule. I asked to speak to the manager and tried to get them to come out and they were already schedule for the day. They would call again by 9:30 the next day.

8/5 It was 9:00am and I had not heard from the technician. I called the office and they told me he would be calling me. He was unable to schedule anything after 3pm and would be here between 1 and 4. I asked if he could give me 25 min. to drive home from work and he did. After the service man arrives he then realizes the he has an ice maker instead of the heater. The wrong part was ordered!!!!! Surprisingly he had the heater that was needed in his van from a previous job.

This is the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. No one would take responsibility for any of the mistakes. I talked with many of the employees and no one would ??satisfy the customer?. I had been without a working refrigerator for 16 days since my first call with my insurance company. We had to buy ice everyday and everything that we did have, had to be thrown out. I had to leave work to be home for the technicians and had to repeatedly call the office.

I did send an email to the owner; Michael Geonnotti and he also would not take any responsibility for his workers or what happened to me. He said I should submit a list of items that were lost to the insurance company. He said "well the fridge is fixed". I gave him a chance to satisfy me and he did absolutely nothing. I will make sure that my insurance company never sends me to Rush Appliance ever again and I am complaining to the Better Business Bureau. I would suggest you never use this company.
