Awful Customer Service. Lee Hagan, owner, invited me to sit down. Thought that was nice until she did all the talking for 12 minutes straight. She didn't want to hear what I had to say. She already had her mind up that I was lucky

I've been taking all of my vehicles to this business for over 20 years and I have never had a problem. Not once.

I have used these guys several times over the last 5 years and they do a great job and stand behind their work. If isn't right they will take care of it. If you are local they give you a ride home and pick you up, no charge. Good

SCAM! I recently moved to Boulder City and was referred to Auto Specialists. I just called Channel 13 and I am taking legal action. Anyone else who is having an issue with this business should call Channel 13 too! I brought my car in for a simple oil change. They said the Serpentine belt needed to be replaced. I was suspicious as I just had it replaced but decided to go ahead anyway. A month later I brought my car back to have the rotors done, I knew they had to be replaced. Lee Hagen, via invoice H281335, said I had to have ceramic brake pads put on and was repairing the front rotors and the rear brake shoes. My bill was $663.98. Originally quoted as a $200 - $300 dollar job. Fine, if it needed it, then I was willing to pay. Two days later my brakes were squeaking. I was told to bring the car back in, which I would have I this not happened. My brother, on my referral, brought his car in for an oil change, much like I did at first. No where noted on his receipt did it state anything about an alternator or Serpentine belt. A day after he brought his car in to these people, a pin fell out of the alternator and his Serpentine belt, which was new and put in a month before, was ripped and looked like it was switched out with another, old one. My brother, and his child, were lucky they weren't stranded on the highway. When I called Lee to address my suspicions the first thing out of her mouth was ""I kinda figured you didn't make it in because there was a problem with your brother's car."" How would she know or assume this? Especially since she didn't note anything else being wrong on his receipt for the oil change? Luckily, my father came into town who is a mechanic and guess what.... the $663.98 worth of work on my car- not so, and my brother's car..... tampered with and screws were missing. I never had this many issues with my car. My old mechanic, who is in Summerlin, took care of both of our cars for years. Now, I move to Boulder City and all of a sudden both cars , after going to Auto Specialist, are having numerous amounts of problems. I also took my car to another mechanic to verify what my father was saying on both my brother's car and on my car. As a woman, who is often left at the mercy of a mechanic, I feel especially violated by Ms. Lee Hagen because she took advantage of my trust. I am filing with small claims court today.

This place is a joke.Brought my vehicle there twice and both times they broke something then tell me it's not they're problem. Very bad business practice would not send anyone to this place for anything they would screw up anything from a simple oil change to a smog check !!!!!!

I had my car serviced at this TERRIBLE place due to an unfortunate referral of a friend. First, I called them and spoke with LEE, one of the owners, and she was very courteous on the phone! She gave me an estimated quote and told me that they could take care of my car in 2 hours. They also told me that they would exactly comply with the manufacturer's recommendations listed on the owner's manual. I dropped the car off and returned after almost 2 hours and a half, and waited another half an hour. The result: COMPLETE DISSATISFACTION AND FRUSTRATION!!! They spent three hours changing the oil, and fixing a tire despite my instructions, as I had tire protection. Then they RECOMMENDED that I change two filters that they were supposed to change, and the quote they had given me included those filters! And worse, they charged me $197 for this BS!!! And guess what? More than $100 was for their labor! I have never seen such indecent and bad business. I would never go there again! And I will tell all my Boulder City friends about these SPECIALISTS so that everyone knows about the way their business works. \n1) Never leave you car unattended.\n2) make sure that they stick with the game plan; not stick a huge bill to you!\n\nI still had to go to the dealership after this horrible experience and ended up paying more to complete the service. I feel like and idiot! So, please go to Sears or Good Year or wherever, BUT this terrible place.

Pros: Cold blooded!

Cons: Extremely unprofessional, unreliable, cannot deliver

I was treated very honestly and fairly by this local auto shop. Tony really took care of me even though I had to bring the car back a second time to check a previous repair.
