We can not say enough positive things from our experience with Dr. McCulloch. With extreme compassion and intelligence, she helped us say good bye to our beloved cat, in our home. She made us feel comfortable with our decision, he had been sick and almost 18 yrs old. It was so peaceful. We dreaded seeing our cat's sad frighten face on that last trip to our Vet. Dr McCulloch is so caring and professional. She spent a lot of time talking to us. She was able to come the same day we made the decision which made us agonize less about it.
We wish her practice was in our neighborhood so she could become our regular Vet. and see happier times.
We highly recommend Wendy McCulloch and are thankful to her.
When I became obvious that our dog was very sick (16 years old) and dying and not wanting him to suffer, I called Dr. McCullough immediately. I was early Saturday morning and she was at my house in 25 mins. She examined him, and agreed that it was better to put him to sleep. She was caring and gentle. She sat with us and listend to our stories about our pup. I can't tell you the differnce it made in being able to do this at home.
Dr. Wendy McCulloch was exactly what we had hoped for when our cat became abruptly ill and was given a dire prognosis. We have a great vet, but wanted our guy to be home where he feels safe and as comfortable as possible for what we thought would be his final few days, so we turned to Pet Requiem. Dr. McCulloch answered our initial cry for help immediately and made herself available by e-mail seemingly around the clock (and it was the July 4 holiday weekend!) to discuss symptoms, calm our fears, and reassure us that we were not alone. I am happy to say that he's had a miraculous recovery, and though we know that his illness will eventually overwhelm him we are much relieved to know that Dr. McCulloch will be with us when the time comes. Another of Dr. McCulloch's patients wrote that they believe she helped their cat live longer and I feel the same. We would have rushed to have our cat put to sleep out of concern he would be home suffering in the middle of a holiday weekend with no way for us to help him. Instead, we could take more time knowing that she was there and we've had such a great month! And counting!
