I read the two negative reviews below, just couldn't believe my eyes as this is NOT the Dr. Jennifer Miller-Davis that I'm personally familiar with. While I appreciate & feel bad that they had such negative experiences with her, I would reccommend her highly to ANYONE looking for an OB or GYN doctor. With myself, she has ALWAYS been 100% consistently patient, kind, thorough, follows through, has a fantastic bedside manner, kind hearted, gentle & understanding. That's why I was BLOWN away reading the negative reviews. There were two incidents that happened to me during my stay in the hospital before & after my c-section delivery by a nurse & a midwife that TERRIBLY upset me ~ Dr. Miller-Davis came in to see me at my request (when it was not her day to do rounds). She listened to me cry, apologized immensely on their behalf & then took action. She even filed a complaint with the head nurse as well as the Midwife manager. Also, I ended up having nerve damage to my back after my first delivery from the epidural ~ so with my 2nd delivery approaching, she went OUT OF HER WAY to find out everything she could do to prevent that from reoccurring this time since I'll have an 11 month old at home when my 2nd arrives in May. She sought this out all on her own & didn't have to. She's been sympathetic, thoughtful & is the BEST doctor I have EVER had, period. There is no one else I'd ever want to care for me while pregnant or with GYN issues besides Dr. Miller-Davis. I just wish she were able to handle ALL aspects of my healthcare, she's just THAT good.

Dr. Miller-Davis is AMAZING! She was wonderful throughout my pregnancy. She was great about answering any and all questions or concerns I had so that I understood. She made sure I was comfortable, and always followed through. I would definately recommend her!

I can relate to the post above. I've been seeing Dr Miller Davis throughout my pregnancy and for awhile after. She was very nice at first, but got weird in the end. 3 months after having my daughters, I had an IUD placed by her. It was HORRIBLE pain. It perferated through my uterus right away. She walked out when I was pretty much crying in pain. I drove home in the worst pain I've ever been in in my entire life. I called her once I got home and she gave me a few pain meds for the weekend, and told me I had to get it surgically removed on Monday. So I pretty much had a foreign object just sitting in my body for 3 days.
Anyway, months later I have still been feeling horrible pain. I could barely even move sometimes. I went in a few times to see her due to that. She sluffed it off and gave me some antibiotics. Never helped. So I called her after hours because of the extreme pain and she told me she will NOT give me any pain meds, even if it's just to get through the night. She said she didnt want to put her license on the line. She made it very clear that she thinks all I want is pain medicine, and told me the "pain" I was having was not from the perferation, and I've been complaining about it way before then. Like I'm a liar. Seeing that she has put another patient through this, makes me believe that she is in the wrong line of work.
I went to another doctor to get a second opinion, and they told me that is why I'm having such extreme pain.
Don't ever go to Dr. Miller-Davis!!!

I am not going to go into full detail here with my experience with Dr Miller-Davis however, my first opinion of her DRASTICALLY changed as my time in her care lengthened. At first I really liked her. However, as time went on she would do/say things or put "drs. orders" in place verbally but when asked to back it later with paperwork or etc she wouldn't do it. This type of behavior continued and worsened as time went on. My condition continued to worsen causing me to miss massive amounts of work. It was discussed and due to treatments I was on, I was unable to do my job, and despite lengthly discussions about this and coming to a mutual consensus on care and plans when it was time for her to put it on paper, again she wouldn't. It was nearly two weeks even after paying a 15$fee to do the paperwork and then it was not done AT ALL as discussed. Things are still in the air as how I am going to patch this all over with my employer and am hoping to not loose my job due to all this. All I can say is, ANYTHING that you discuss with her or ANY paperwork that needs done, be sure it is done right then and there with you in the room! Don't just go by her word. If she comes up with anything, such as a diagnoses, care plan, prescription directions, ANYTHING, get it on paper RIGHT AWAY! If she will not write down what you have discussed JUST as it was discussed vocally then you may want to move on. Also, in transferring to a new doctor, I got a copy of my entire file and reading over it with my husband, he and I are VERY upset. There were many appointments that he was at with me and he is the quiet listener and soaks everything like a sponge. We read the notes and it makes me sound as if I am a pill seeker when in reality these types of medications scare me due to addictive chemicals and side effects, however when the alternative is laying in bed crying in crippling pain, what is a person to do? The other major conflict between fact and what is documented is the discussions about another therapy that I had wanted she felt I was too high risk and wanted to try other things first. However in the medical notes she stated that she brought it up many times and states that I "wanted to think about it" as I was nervous and wanted to do other treatments first. So I would ask to review your file every so often if not as she is doing it after the appointment to be sure she keeps the facts straight. She is nice and takes time to talk with you when needed but talking and being nice only gets you so far. If you aren't willing to stand behind your word then it means nothing...

Dr. Miller-Davis practices at The Women's Health Center in Oregon City. She was my OB for my last baby who was born in 2010. I really liked her laid back personality and she had a great bedside manner. I think that she wasn't concerned enough about my swelling as after I gave birth it took months and months for the swelling to go down, leading me to believe there may have bee some toxemia involved. But everything turned out ok in the end and I would recommend her.
