We just went to Tucker Lake and had a great time. It was on a Monday and it was not packed at all, we have never been there on the weekend so I can't speak of weekend crowds, but we had an awesome time. The lifeguards there were all great

I have visited Tucker Lake for years and love it! It is always very clean. The water is very clear. Prices are reasonable ($10 for an adult is nothing for a full day of relaxation and enjoyment). There are always lifeguards on duty.

We used to love Tucker Lake, but it has really gone down hill. I'm not sure if it has new owners, or if the old ones have just gotten to the point where all they care about is making money. Either way, I do NOT recommend them anymore. Don't waste your money.

This year has been the absolute pits. Every time we go the place is insanely crowded. I mean, kids getting hurt and no where to put your chair or beach blanket crowded. We have yet to be there when they had all 3 beaches open. And they don't tell you on the website how many are open. We've tried calling and they are just downright rude!

We tried talking to the owners a few times and the are just nasty. I have witnessed the woman curse loudly on more than one occassion in front of small children. She has no problem telling you that if you're not happy she doesn't want to hear it, you can just leave. And of course she has a zero refund policy, so you're just out of luck. And don't forget to bring cash, because they don't take credit.

The last time we went we thought it might be better on a weekday, but it was every bit as crowded and the kids finally asked to go home because there were lines for everything...the waterslide, the playground equipment, the swings, etc, and it was just no fun.

So now we go to Smithfield Aquatic Center and are so much happier. It is much cheaper, less crowded, and the bathrooms are WAY cleaner. And no one is cussing near my kids or getting hurt because of the shear number of bodies.

I wasted my money this year so that you don't have to! Take my advice and take your kids somewhere else if you want to have a good time this year.

Several people had recommended Tucker Lake as a good place to take our kids. I'm not sure if the recommendations are based on visits in past years or if my friends only went during weekdays before school let out. I definitely do NOT

Please do not give these people your money. I went with my family and they had only 1 of 3 beaches open. The beach was packed so I had asked for my money back($51) so I could go somewhere else. We had not unpacked and had been on the
