This is the best indian restaurant to have home delivery if you are in redondo beach. service over the phone was very helpfull and the service for delivery driver was very nice with smile and uniformed driver with white shirt and neck tie which i think is really fancy.\r\nNow the food.::::::) I have eaten at many different indian restaurants where the tikka masala is bland and spiceless but this restaurants delivered tikka masala to my house was better than all dine in places. I have not visited the restaurant but this delivery is going to make me go in next time. mixed tandoori came real fresh and moist and basmati rice it was real nice and fresh. \r\n\r\nI think this place deserve a five star rating and the best indian food award.\r\ni have to finish my food now and will update once i dine in.

Note: Initial review based on first visit on 12/10/10. Update at bottom. \r\n\r\nLet me sum up at the beginning: This is the best Indian restaurant I've found in the last 30 years of dining out. The food is amazing and and the service is excellent. We left feeling intoxicated with gastronimic goodness. \r\n\r\nNow for the review: \r\nAbout the food: We started with the assorted appetizers to get a sampling of what was available. By far the one we liked the best was the Onion Bhaji, highly recommended. The Fish and Chicken Pakoras were also very nice. Next time we will order one of the above and/or maybe try a soup. \r\n\r\nNext out was Chicken Korma which is tender pieces of marinated chicken spiced mildly, cooked with onions, yogurt and cashew nuts. We ordered everything ""medium spicy"" (we like things spicy but didn't know the starting point for this place) and this was delicious but could we have used a little more spice. We will order this again. \r\n\r\nFor a veggie dish we ordered okra, it is called Bhindi Bhaji, ""okra cooked in herbs and spices with onions."" This dish was outstanding! We were in heaven. Spiced and cooked to perfection. :-))\r\n\r\nWe weren't planning on ordering a rice dish but our waiter suggested we try the Rice Pellow aka Saffron Rice ""Saffron rice with peas, onion tomato and nuts."" I am very glad we took his suggestion, we loved it. I don't much care for rice dishes but this was sublime. \r\n\r\nThen came a sizzling platter of mixed tandoori including Lamb Boti Kabob (highly recommended), Sheesh Kabob (not so much recommended), Tandoori Chicken (surprisingly only average given that that ""Tandoori"" is part of the name of this restaurant. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious but most of the other entrees were superlative. The Chicken Tikka was excellent, very tender pieces of breast meat roasted to perfection. \r\n\r\nPortions were ample on all dishes. The above made big dinners for two and big lunches for two the following day. \r\n\r\nFor bread we had the Garlic Naan and the Onion Kulcha both were delicious but the Onion Kulcha was memorable. \r\n\r\nDessert consisted of Kulfi (homemade Pistachio Ice Cream) and an order of the rice pudding to go ( by now we were stuffed). The Kulfi was very different, firm and flavorful, not creamy but loaded with pistachio flavor. The rice pudding is rich and exquisite. \r\n\r\nThe service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. The owner came to our table twice, once in the middle of the meal to make sure we liked everything and to deliver the check and chat. Service here can only be categorized as excellent. \r\n\r\nOverall a wonderful experience and we are definitely going back. Quite a statement since it's a 20 mile drive each way and there are numerous Indian restaurants in between. \r\n\r\n*** EDIT/UPDATE: 2/6/11: My wife and I have returned 4 times since my initial review. 3 times with friends and 1 time by ourselves. 2 visits were for the lunch buffet and 2 visits were for the dinner menu. All of our friends were genuinely impressed with the wonderful cuisine and eager to go back again. \r\n\r\nFurthermore, on those occasions where we ordered off of the menu and asked for something special, our waiter was polite and helpful and the chef executed our requests perfectly. \r\n\r\nThe most important reason I feel the need to update my review is that I unfairly judged the Tandoori Chicken (as ""only average"") based upon just one visit. On each of our return visits I must say the Tandoori Chicken was excellent (tender, juicy, tasty and cooked to perfection) as was everything else. \r\n\r\nThis serves to point out a very important factor when it comes to relying on restaurant reviews: Try to find reviews where the author has made multiple visits. \r\n\r\nMake sure to try the Onion Bhaji, Chicken Korma, and if you like okra the Bhindi Bhaji. \r\n\r\n

I have been to India's Tandoori a few times and it always gave me the flavors i ate groving up in India. I live in Torrance and work in El Segundo and this is the best Lunch spot for Indian craving.\r\nBest way to try is the Lunch Buffet where you can try number of vegetarian and meat items. food is always fresh and they get you your choice of Naan Garlic or Plain. Buffet is all you can eat where you get to try Salads, Appetizers, lots of curry items, Fruits and Deserts.\r\nRestaurant is really nice Decorated and Service is Excellent. Plus point is they offer free delivery.

Thanks to my cousin Jason who recommended India's Tandoori for a date. Cindy who never had indian food but she wanted to try something good and not bland like American food. so i called Jason my cousin for any good place he might know and he said Indian food will make your date very happy. ok we'll try it.\r\nWe both walked into the restaurant for dinner about 7pm and we were welcomed with big smile and got us a table towards the back by the tv playing indian music videos.\r\nThey gave us the papadom the crispy crackers and three kind of sauce to dip. we asked the waiter if you had to bring someone over for dinner what would you order? well.... he said appetizer chicken samosa's, Dinner Mixed Tandoori, Lamb korma, alu gobhi, rice and garlic naan. we closed the menu and said lets do that. he first thaught i was playing with him. \r\nChicken samosa's were the best.. Mixed Tandoori was excellent, Lamb korma can't beat this that and garlic naan was amazing very fresh and tasty. \r\nService was too good to be in an indian restaurant. My date was very happy with our dinner night.\r\nThanks for a great dinner india tandoori.

I have been ordering food from one other place in the area and they don't deliver so i had to pick it up all the orders. last week I found India's Tandoori in one of the local ad and they delivery. I was very happy i don't have to leave the house to go pick up my food.
I could not wait and i called the same evening for a delivery order. guy who took my order was very nice and explained me the different options in the menu. I was feeling good already about this restaurant.
Food arrived about 40 + some minutes later. the delivery driver was a female who was also very nice.
FOOD...
every item was very delicious. i had a few items as medium on spice a two as spicy. they were perfect spiced the way i wanted.
Looking forward to dine in when i get some free time.

Coool.
I searched for Brunch Restaurants in the are and India's Tandoori showed up on top.
HHHmmmmm. Indian Restaurant has champagne brunch? got in the car with my bf and headed over to the restaurant. they only had a few tables at the time and we got a nice spot towards the back but near the tv that was playing Bolllywood dance video's. nice.
so we both got champagne and started with salad and appetizers. chicken samosa's and onion baji both very yummmy.
Now time for real food..they had daal, saag, alu gobhi, veg.korma and also had goat curry, chicken tika masala and tandori chicken. every item was suppper delicious. we both had at least three plates of food.
they only offer one refill on champage so we both got our refills. i wish they had more than one.
after all it was the best we had in LA.

This was the first time I went to India's Tandoori since Ive moved to Manhattan Beach. I have been looking for Indian Food in Manhattan Beach but they don't have any Indian Restaurant in my city. They have excellent dinner combination's which gives you rice, naan, vegetable, tandoori chicken and lamb curry. Indias Tandoori is very nice and all the food has very authentic flavors. The restaurants decor is decent and clean.

My sister loves this place. She has been telling me to go try it. So I finally went in last night with family. Sister was right. Food here is out of this world. They really know how to do lamb chops. Spinach and chicken dish was really good. Got a basket of garlic naan bread and some chicken biryani all delicious. Service was good and got to meet city's mayor who was eating with his family. Overall I was really satisfied.

I finally took my mom over to this indian restaurant after talking about it for a while. i took friday off to take my mom to lunch for indian food. i never had buffet at this place because i work in culver city during lunch time and never had a chance to try the food here. \r\nMy mom really loved this place because they had such a great selection for lunch buffet. we both had visited different indian places in the past but this one's standard is prety high for quality of the food and service both excellent. garlic naan and chicken tikka masala both were top. all the vegetable items were really nice fresh and tasty. fresh fruits were really yummy. and mango lassi is real thick the way it should be not watery like some places. excellent. good job.

I've lived in the area for some time and never had a chance to try india's tandoori till i got a mailed in coupon in Valpak. \nDrove over during dinner hours about 8pm. the place was really nice decorated had candles lighted on the tables dim lights making it very romantic. when i walk into an Indian restaurant and don't smell the burning incense, i don't feel right about the place. They had really sweet kinda smell at this place reminded me watching one of the Indian Kamasutr movie. \nfood was amazing as well, chicken tika was really tender and moist, lamb vindaloo perfect, spinach with potatoes excellent, garlic nan bread very nice loaded with garlic and cilantro and very fresh. \n

I eat here whenever I am doing business in the area. Great food, incredible selection, always fresh, great people with a fun atmosphere. For those that have not had experience with Indian Cuisine, I would suggest the lunch buffet. To me, some of these dishes are just like eating candy. I can't get enough. The Nan and Chicken are made in an authentic Tandoori oven. No shortcuts here. \r\n\r\nIf you are in the mood for something different, or love Indian food, please give them a try. \r\n\r\nBy the way, they have a location in L.A. and a brand new location in I believe Torrance. \r\n\r\nThe Proprietor and staff will take great care of you and will be happy to help you with your selections or questions.\r\n\r\nBe careful at the lunch buffet, it is very easy to stuff yourself with so many dishes.\r\n\r\nSomething I have noticed as I am in this place 3-4 times a month is that I always see quite a few regulars.\r\n\r\nThat says more than anything.

good Indian food specially all you can eat buffet you only pay $10 and selection of vegetarian and non veg items is really nice and the buffet menu is daily changed so you never get bored of eating same. i really like chicken samosa's and goat curry at this restaurant. staff is friendly and decor is really nice. i took a friend over for dinner once and she really like it too. they had dim lights and candles on the tables with roses on every table making it very romantic.

Pros: chicken tikka is the best at this place

I go to India's Tandoori for their lunch buffet pretty much every week (and many weeks - multiple times). The food is always great and the staff is great as well. They have a great verity of dishes to choose from for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike.

This place is great. Best Indian food without being overpriced. Actually very affordable. The buffet had an expansive and appetizing selection, with everything very hot and fresh. Great vegetarian selection too! Service was attentive and the decor is just lovely. It was also immaculately clean inside. This place will be getting my business for a long time to come.

Pros: I like the nan

India's Tandoori is the best India food place in the South Bay. The service is excellent. The manager greeted me at the door and showed me to my table. The servers are great they came to my table promptly with water, and asked if I wanted a drink. Then after I got my first plate at the buffet they checked to make sure I had everything I needed. i loved the buffet and will be back again.

I have eaten at India's Tandoori a number of times and has always been the best. i went in today for the Lunch Buffet and it was amazing. i have never seen indian restaurant have such a great selection for buffet. Appetizer Tandoori Chicken Wings and Samosa Excellent. the garlic naan here is always the best. Four Vegetable items: Daal Makni, Saag Paneer, Alu Gobhi and Chana masala all very tasty. Three nonveg items: Chicken Keema curry, chicken makhni and Tandoori chicken all really good. very nice selections of fresh fruits assortment with Mango, Grapes, Water Melon, Melon and Oranges. Sweets were Rice pudding, Carrot pudding, and Pista Malai. i have not seen any other indian restaurant than can even come close to what this restaurant is doing. in bad economy every business is slowing or going out of business but this place was full with at least 50-60 customers during lunch. the service is always great and restaurant is very cozy and clean.

It's hard to give a ""not recommended"" rating on Service for take-out, but the staff was so inpolite to me I just had to do it. At 4:45pm on a Saturday it was totally empty, and I felt the staff was pissed at me for having to interupt their television show. The food wasn't even ready when I arrived 35 minutes after my phone order. The Tika Masala I ordered was good, but I have NEVER had worse naan bread in my life. Old, hard, and overcooked. Do yourself a favor and skip this place!
