I believe that this company is conducting a scientific study with the goal of creating the worst possible property management agency. I find it comforting to know that they must be getting closer to obtaining this goal as every time I need something from them the response is a little less helpful than the previous one. That is, if they bother to respond at all. There is presumably a vortex somewhere that contains all of my unanswered calls and emails and it is likely getting big enough to require a second vortex, which I assume would create a black hole in which I could go back in time and choose to live somewhere else.

This company is completely unprofessional in the way they handle business. There have been numerous occasions where we have had serious maintenance/plumbing issues due to no fault of our own. We have been lied to several times by representatives and our requests have always been either put off or ignored completely. I think you should be concerned when you are unable to keep a steady employee, we have had over 3 different property managers during the 9 months we have lived here and several maintenance workers. Our apartment has been entered by a representative without any notice which is inexcusable since in our lease it states that they must give 12 hour notice. We have been told that it is inconvenient when they have to send someone over here to deal with a maintenance issue. How is doing your job an inconvenience? Luckily we have found a new place through another rental agency and we will never ever do anything through Collins and Associates again. They say on their website that they are devoted to providing an exceptional living experience for their tenants; however, they are a bunch of money hungry, worthless, liars who have no right to claim something so false. This company receives -5 stars if that were even possible. They need to make some drastic changes in my opinion to even be considered a proper business, otherwise they have no right calling themselves a rental agency. Tenants are supposed to come first otherwise why are we paying you hundreds of dollars each month. I recommend to think twice before renting through anything owned by Collins and Associates, they cost much more than they are worth.

I haven't rent from WEC Rentals, but I have applied and sent a application online LIKE THEY ASK. I received a email, asking me to set up a convenient time so THEY can SHOW me the property. That was about A WEEK AGO. It is claimed that they will respond back in 24-72 hours, but I waited for a WHOLE WEEK. I have been waiting for them to respond back until today, when I decided to give them a call. Apparently, my application was "rejected", and they claim that they haven't sent me an email. I still have PROOF of that email in my inbox that also included the application that I completed. WEC RENTALS are a bunch of liars, and are very irresponsible. There are many other places I can rent from. I regret even bothering with WEC RENTALS. Future advice: 1. DONT LIE THAT YOU GUYS HAVEN'T SENT AN EMAIL WHEN IT IS SAID THAT THE EMAIL IS SENT FROM YOUR OWN WORK EMAIL ADDRESS. 2. RESPOND BACK IN 24-72 HOURS EVEN THOUGH THE APPLICATION MAY BE "REJECTED"! We took the time to fill out the application, we should have the rights and respect to get a respond back instead of being IGNORED!

WEC RENTALS is so bad, I rather be homeless than rent from here!

I just want to say I usually don't write reviews. I have been renting from WEC Rentals for 2 1/2 years. If I had a maintenance issue they are there to fix it in a timely manner. I also would like to thank the maintenance staff for fixing my furnace at 2:30 in the morning. The best part the maintenance person brought heaters with him to heat the house. That goes a long way with me since I have a newborn child.

We lived in our apartment for about two years, every time we needed something fixed they would act like it was extremely inconvenient. When they would fix things that were out of our control they would bill us later and not inform us we would be billed. For exampled the home was very old and had old plumbing (WHICH THEY ADMIT THEMSELVES) and about 4 days after they fixed our toilet we received a bill in the mail for $80 dollars. The maintenance man is a JERK, put nicely, he is so messy and he treats the tenants like crap!
We finally moved out, just got our security deposit back and they took almost $400 from it for no good reason. They charged for things that were not even wrong, the apartment was completely cleaned and there were no problems.
This is how they make their money!!! They charge you for things that should be done because THEY own the property. If YOU pay to fix things in the home such as plumbing problems and non functioning door knobs etc then you should be the owner of the home.
Lastly, the landlord responsible for your apartment is not organized, they will try to come into your home without notice. Be careful when choosing to work with them.

Our lease began on June 1st of 2010 at 1:00 pm. At 1:00 we were told the keys weren??t available and were asked to return June 3rd. That was not a valid option, so we were given our keys by 4:00 that afternoon. Because of this complication however, repairs from the prior tenants were not completed and we were asked to list them on our move-in form, which we did.

Washer and Dryer hook-ups were advertised and listed in the lease. The hook-ups were non-existent and WEC Rentals refused to update the facilities until we demanded that both the building manager and the maintenance staff inspected the hypothetical hook-ups in our presence.

Maintenance staff as well as building managers came into our apartment with no notice or less than 24 hours notice on several different occasions. Apartment viewing schedules were also changed without informing us. Personal property was unnecessarily tampered with when the heat was checked in the fall.

A severe water leak in the kitchen sink (which we called the emergency weekend number to report as well as re-reported during the week) was ignored for two weeks until the maintenance staff arrived unannounced and blamed us for the water damage.

We reported extensive black mold problems in the bathroom and were told we had to find a solution ourselves. Hail damage to the screens was never addressed.

We were asked to be available to move out early so maintenance crews could begin work, and we were never given out move-out paperwork which was later requested.

We cleaned the apartment thoroughly (bathroom walls and floors were scrubbed due to mold, the shower and toilet were scrubbed, the oven, kitchen sink, and refrigerator were both disinfected and cleaned), and half of our security deposit was deducted.

Four quarterly water bills were paid (with check carbon copies available for proof), and a fifth bill was pro-rated on our security deposit.

We dealt with four different property managers from the time we signed the lease to the time we moved out.
