this man and his wife are out to get your money and that is all. stay away from this company. they pretend to be a family oriented business but its all a lie. after two return trips my mower was in worst shape than when i originally took it to them and he even switched out a part which i think he used on a different mower for a different customer.

This company is a complete joke. They had my lawn mower for over a month and would not return it. I had to get the Gahanna Police involved. The owner(Jerry) threatened to throw my $3,000.00 mower into the street on Agler Rd. He called me at 8:45pm on 5/31/12 and said he just set it out on the side of the street. He would never return calls to try to resolve the issue. I will be filing criminal charges tomorrow.

If you are in need of mower repair avoid BJ??s mower repair unless you want to wait longer for your mower and get it back in worse condition.
My push mower quit running so I called BJ??s when the repair company I??ve used in the past had a 2 week waiting time. I called and there was no answer, so I hung up and they called right back. I was told I could bring the mower over that day. When I arrived they took a look at my mower and fixed my problem on the spot. Boy was I impressed! I decided to leave the mower there for general maintenance (oil change, etc.). It was a Thursday and I was told it would be ready on Monday. I gave them a phone number they could call when it was ready. At $55, it was a deal since when I got there my mower wasn??t working at all.
The following Tuesday, I called in the morning because there was no word yet and the grass was continuing to grow. No answer, I left a message. That afternoon I called and a woman answered, she had not received my message, and the mower was not yet ready. It would be ready on Wednesday because they had a commercial mower repair job over the weekend. I asked if I could pay by check and was told I would need to pay with cash.
I did not have time to pick up the mower until Thursday. By the way, the business is run out of the home. When I got there, no one was home and ironically it was the same time that I dropped off the mower 1 week prior. I called their number on my cell and had to leave a message that I wanted to pick up the mower as soon as possible and to call me back. As I was getting back into my car, I noticed my mower sitting outside. Both garage doors were closed and my mower, along with another mower, was shoved under a parked trailer for shelter. The paperwork I had filled out was jammed in the handle and it had obviously been outside for a while. My mower had scratches all over the handles and top of the mower engine. If I could have gotten my mower into my car by myself, I would have taken it right then and there!
Later that same day, I called again. The same woman answered and I inquired about my mower. I was told it was ready and that they would be there so I could pick it up. When I arrived, there were no cars in the driveway. Finally a teenage boy came from the back of the house. I told him I was there for my mower and showed him which one. After he pulled it from the spot it was wedged under the trailer, I asked him about the scratches. I paused waiting for an answer. Without making eye contact, he said he could call ??him.? I was annoyed that I had to deal with a teenager who was not responsible for this so called business. I wrote on the invoice copy that I was not happy with the scratches, gave him my cash and left with my mower. I just needed my mower back-the yard was beginning to look like a jungle. Back at home, I started the mower without any difficulty.
Later that day as I began to cut the grass, I noticed that my self propelled mower was no longer self propelled. I looked at the mower and did not find any noticeable problems. It was after 6pm so I managed to get as much cut as possible.
The next day (Friday), I called and once again had to leave a message. I called again in the afternoon and the same women answered. I told her about the problem I was having. I asked her what the hours were and she said whatever was convenient for the customer. She said she was getting ready to leave but would be back after 6pm. I was unable to get the mower there after 6pm due to a work commitment. Monday would not work either. So on Tuesday, I called first then took the mower over. The same man that helped me when I dropped off the mower was there with several teenage boys working on a truck. One came over and helped me. He took my mower out of the trunk and began to look at it. He really didn??t have any idea what he was doing. The man came over fumbled with it for a while and got it to work. He then went back to working on the truck without a word. The teenager then helped me load it into my car. I wanted to discuss how unhappy I was with his service but thought it would be rude in front of a group of teenagers who appeared to be his students.
Now, weeks later my mower works but not without difficulty. It is not quite the same. BJ??s Mower Repair needs a lesson in customer service. The was not friendly and always had a cigarette in hand. When I dropped off the mower he wasn??t even wearing a shirt.
