Brought my bike in to get a simple seal fixed that was leaking oil. I told them if it wasn't something they could do quick then it would not be worth it, since it was the middle of summer and I wanted to sell the bike. It should have taken five minutes to fix once they got the part from the factory. I didnt hear anything for a week so i called. They had no idea they were supposed to order the part and said they would right away. I called after two weeks and they said they would call me when it was done. After 3 weeks they said they had "just ordered the part and it should be there in a few days." I had to wait ONE MONTH to get my bike back. The best part, when they called me after ONE MONTH, my bike was NOT FIXED. The person who called me from motofactory, who makes a living off fixing old motorcycles said after me questioning how it could have possibly taken them a month to do nothing "It's a thirty year old bike, I can't magically fix a 30 year old bike" and then he screamed "now come get your bike!" Had they called the factory after a day or two it would have taken a week at most. These guys are horrible and I would never recommend them for anything.

Business Response:

Please Disregard, I am the new owner and the previous comments do not accurately reflect our new policy and commitment. This is a great shop, and we only use great OEM quality parts. Prices are competitive, and the work is unequivocal. Please stop in, or visit the website, as for the changes we are making are on a daily basis. Once again, thanks for taking the time to read this response. We apologize for any bad feelings displayed here. -Sean Hayes

I bought a 1967 Yamaha 125. This was my first motorcycle so I didn't know a lot about it and the maintenance it may need. I rode it until something seemed to go wrong. It started to sputter and lost power. I wasn't sure where to go but Motofactory was close to my home and was highly recommended by a friend. I took it there. The boys at the shop were very knowledgeable and treated me with respect, although I knew very little about bikes. I had my bike back within a day! With such great service and friendly, helpful staff, I can't picture myself ever wanting to go anywhere else!

I've had Great experiences with Motofactory. Oliver has fixed several of my bikes and is the only shop I will bring my vintage bikes to after having bad experiences at Vicious cycle and Fast Bikes. Nate and Oliver are second to none when it comes to tuning stubborn vintage two strokes and old CB's. I highly recommend this shop.

DO NOT bring your bike here under any circumstances whatsoever! After towing it in for the same problem three times -- and getting three different diagnoses and a "you're-good-to-go" so-called "repair" -- I still have a broken bike with the very same problem it had in the very beginning! Nevermind that it cost hundreds of dollars to have them fix things that WERE NOT WRONG with it -- the pain and hassle of winding up stranded in BF Egypt three times with a dead bike is only exacerbated by the owner's belligerence and combativeness when I brought it back for the last time and politely suggested that they might not really know what the problem was. He even had the audacity to call me a "pain in the ass"! Yeah right, oops, my bad for bringing back a dead bike that you've "fixed" THREE TIMES. Bad service, bad management, bad vibes...ZERO stars for this sham of a repair shop....
