If you are reading this you are probably a victim of the Herrera family through one of there TV repair stores. Through a series of TV repair stores Edwin Herrera and his wife Reina Herrera along with some of their kids have victimized many people.

The Herrera's are from Honduras. I don't know if they are here legally. They use aliases such as Roger Tajada and David Rosales.

The Herrera family's business model is to move the company to a new rented location and change its name when the company gets a sufficiently bad reputation and load of outstanding court judgments against it. Tetesystems Electronics became Delta TV Repair. Delta TV Repair then became Seattle TV Repair, Inc.

Understand that you are already a victim. There is nothing you can do for yourself. Even if you sue and win a judgment, as I did, they will just not pay you. This may come as a surprise to you, but they dont have to.

The best you can do is notifying the Better Business Bureau to help warn others from also being victimized. I no longer see any point in notifying the office of the Attorney General.

10/09/2011 ?? I paid $1012.78 to Seattle TV Repair, INC. to fix my TV in two weeks as stated by Roger. I got the TV back two months later. It worked for six weeks and then began having the same problem I??d paid to be fixed. I couldn??t get the company to honor its advertized six-month warranty on parts and labor.

05/01/2012 ?? I went to small claims court and entered into a mediation agreement with Seattle TV Repair, INC. The company then failed to honor the mediation agreement.

08/16/2012 ?? I went to small claims court but Roger came and he wasn??t authorized to represent Seattle TV Repair, INC. So the case got rescheduled.

08/30/2012 ?? I went to small claims court again. Its owner, David Rosales, represented Seattle TV Repair, INC. I was awarded $1053.53. The case number is 124-02300.

10/19/2012 ?? Seattle TV Repair, INC. and its owner, David Rosales, failed to honor the judgment of the court. I paid $20 to move the case to the civil docket.

11/01/2012 ?? I sent a letter demanding payment. It was ignored.

11/16/2012 I sent a second demand letter demanding payment. It was ignored.

12/08/2102 - I am now researching lawyers and collection agencies. Yes, this has gone on for over a year now. And it continues.

10/09/2011 ?? I paid $1012.78 to Seattle TV Repair, INC. to fix my TV in two weeks as stated by Roger. I got the TV back two months later. My experience has been like so many of the BAD reviews: he took my TV and a hefty deposit, and did nothing. Eventually, I went and got my TV back, unfixed, and asked for a refund.

It's been a month, and I've still not received a refund, and I'm proceeding into small claims action against the firm.

While I was there picking up my TV, a couple showed up who also wanted their TV back.

I'll update this as my action against him proceeds.

My experience with Seattle TV Repair was an altogether positive one. When my 50"" Vizio went out, we thought it was a goner. Roger came over and thoroughly explained the problem. Within a week, the TV was back and working - just in time for basketball season.

I am extermely disappointed about the poor level of communication and unprofessional excuses. I was intially told repair on my 50"" flatscreen plasma would take 1 to 1-1/2 weeks It has now been 6-1/2 weeks and when I finally have been able to contact Roger several times, he has some excuse why repairs have not been done, from special order parts, holiday delays, testing and now parts not available. They have collected payment in full and now I may have to proceed with legal action to get satisfaction.

WELL after a month and a half, I stopped in and asked for my TV, the desk guy, called Roger and was told that my TV had a BAD panel and could not be fixed. Now here's were it gets GOOD..I got the TV back minus a huge part of my money$536.46 they kept $358.52 FOR DOING NOTHING. BUT IT GETS BETTER YET.I called another TV repair man,he came picked up my TV and PRESTO TV IS FIXED AND WORKS LIKE IT IS BRAND NEW.\r

HE TOLD ME, ROGER IF HE WAS ANYKIND OF A REPAIR MAN COULD HAVE FIGURED IT OUT IN 5 MINUTES Bad buffer boards!!!!\r
TRUST me DO NOT use them unless you want to get ripped OFF. I have since filed complaint's with the BBB and with the Washington State Attorneys Generals Office and also called Connie to let her know they are back at ripping people OFF. Good reviews my ass!!! I engaged Seattle TV repair in January for repair of my Philips Plasma Ambilight TV. Roger was the service technician. I pre-paid the estimate. after a month, i began calling for a status. Roger kept telling me the tv was in quality testing. Followed by repeated failures. in March, i was told the TV cannot be repaired and would return to me. I asked for them to dispose of the tv and return the Comcast Cable Card from the TV. Seattle TV was very apologetic and agreed to dispose of the TV at no charge. Also, they would return the cable card from the tv so I can return it to comcast. Additionally, i would be reimbursed almost half the cost since they could not fix it. This is their policy. From April, May, June, I have called monthly and keep being told that they will delivery the card and billing will issue the refund, but I have to wait till the end of the month. Each month comes and goes, and I continue to get false promises from Roger and others at Seattle TV Repair. Since July, I call each week asking for status, but have yet to receive the cable card or the refund. I have been polite and very patient but feel now my number is blocked as when i call, i never get anyone answering the phone during business hours. This situation is now into 7 months.
