I agree with the below comment. I called my warranty company about an issue with my unit in my attic. They sent out Authorized service center who intern sent a tech out. The technician was at my home 10 minutes and told me it was a capacitor issue. He changed the part and took the service fee and left. On Christmas morning around 2:00 AM MY upstairs was filled with smoke and my smoke alarm went off. I quickly went up stairs to shut the main unit off. I saw sparks coming from my unit, I turned my unit off from the main switch and I submitted a work order again to my warranty company and they sent Authorized Service Center out again. The technician opens the cover of my unit and all of the wires were burned and the whole board was fired. I called and asked to speak to the owner. I explained what happen and he told me no way it was the technicians fault, maybe the board was going bad anyway and he told me I had 2 choices either get it fixed or not, I told him I will take him to court and he stated go ahead and he hung the phone up in my face. I hired 3 other companies to give me an estimate of the damage and what happen and they all stated it was the fault of the technician. The issue was the wires that attach to the capacitor were touching which caused a short to the board and the wires to melt and burn. I check the capacitor and it looked like an old part and not a new one. Please stay away from this company, they are no good and they are worthless. If hey just would have heard me out on my issue and would have made good then it would not have gotten to this point. I will file a small claims in Garland in the amount of $3,500 for a new unit and the days I was without heat during the cold days in December to January. All this happen in Decemberf of 2011 and January 2012. I just replaced my unit.

I would not trash a business unless I hadn't had some legitimate reason to do so. This company was sent to my home last summer (2010) and this summer 2011 by a home warranty company. My air conditioning condensing unit was giving me major problems during both summers. I had difficulty with scheduling every time I called. Their work was totally unsatisfactory. When I complained to the warranty company that Authorized Service Center was not doing what they were suppose to do as far as repairs, this company told the warranty company that I was the problem! Three weeks ago, this company installed a new capacitor. The ""second opinion"" company that got the unit running again said the part that Authorized Service installed was too light-duty for my unit and had ""blown out."" My family and I spent two miserable days without any air because the last Authorized Service tech took a visual look at the unit, which was running, but acting up, and said that there was nothing wrong with it and never even check inside the unit. I have four service tickets from them that state that the whole condensing unit just needed to be replaced. The ""second opinion"" company said that there is nothing wrong with the unit (now that they fixed it properly). Beware of Authorized Service Center in Garland, Texas.

The technician turned the A/C unit off and told me he needed to get parts and would be back the next day since the parts are at the shop according to his supervisor. Ok, I can deal with 100 deg temps for a day. \r
I took off work and waited all day...nothing, not even a phone call. I called and got a voicemail. I figured it being summer, they were swamped...so I give them another day. \r
The next day came around and nothing, so I called them around 3pm on Friday. Apparently, they lost my invoice and would have to contact the technician. They advised that they would call me within a few hours. I waited and no callback.\r
Monday comes around and no callback or anything. I called ASC and the same lady from Friday told me that she cannot find the invoice. She puts me on hold for about 10mins and finds it. She cannot believe the technician turned my A/C off entirely, but will have to speak with a supervisor to see what they can do and will call me back within the hour. \r
I wait a few hours and nothing, so I call my home service company and they get ahold of ASC immediately, who says I didn't call and the technician should be out the next day, Tues. ASC also says they will call and set up the appointment with me. I never received a call until...\r
Tuesday, I was at home all day and my wife tells me she received a call around 3pm stating the technician was at our home, but since no one answered the phone, he did not even try to knock. My wife calls them back within a few minutes and the technician is already out of the area. The only time they can come back is Thurs (8 days without any A/C in 100 deg temps). We ask why not tomorrow and that we can do any day except Thurs due to medical issues/appts. Also, we ask why did they not try knocking or calling me, esp since they used my number to setup the first appointment. Apparently, they do not have my number, even though it is the one on their invoice in front of me. \r
So, now I try my home service company again. ASC tells them that they are trying to work with us, but I am unreasonable. I bet they would too if they didn't have A/C for a week. Also, they tell the service company that they had to order parts. So, either they lied to the service company or the technician and person he was talking to on the first day lied to me about having the parts in stock (either way ASC lied). Then, they say they can only make it on Thurs or the following week. How long is my family suppose to go without A/C? Apparently, my home service company cannot send another company because ASC had to order parts. I think ASC knows the drill and lied about ordering the parts to keep this contract.\r
So, now I am stuck waiting for who knows how long or spend more money calling a A/C company myself. If ASC comes to your house, especially if you are using a home service company, turn them away and get someone else out because it will be nothing more than wasted money and a headache.\r

I paid this company more than 5k to install brand new central air and heat in my home. It would work fine for an hour or two, and then shut off. Each time the techs promised to return the same day if it stopped working. And it would stop working and I would call and they simply would not answer the phone. They were unconcerned that I had no working AC after paying them all that money and I simply had to wait my turn.\r

We had no ac in August during a weekend and several days and evenings. Not one bit of concern on their part. They had to return to my home 6 times before they could get it working right. \r

Now, it's 3 months later and I am astounded to learn that I have no heat from my brand new central unit installed by Authorized Service Center. It looks like it has not even been hooked up. \r

At this point, I would rather pay a reputable company $500 to get it working than pay Authorized Service Center another 5 cents. \r

Authorized Service Center is the worst company I've ever had the misery of dealing with. Do not invite this scummy company into your life, you will definitely be sorry. \r

One thing I don't understand about companies like this -- what would it cost them to act like they care? Nothing. Not a single thing. But this company acts like they will lose money if they act like they care about their customers. I don't get how the owner of this company and that horrid rude woman that answers the phone can sleep with themselves at night, and even more so I don't get how this company stays in business!
