I had an appointment with Dr. Scott in May and he recommended that I have cataract surgery on my right eye as soon as possible. I have in the meantime sought two other opinions, one of whom is a Professor of Opthamology, and both physicians said I had the very early stages of a cataract and that I should NOT have surgery at this time, but should wait with check-ups every six months.\r
\r
Furthermore, I had a prescription written for glases both distance and near by Dr. Scott and one of the other physicians did also. The difference in the two prescriptions is such that the one I received from Dr. Scott must have been for someone else, e.g., for near it was +2.5 for both eyes, while the other physician prescribed +1.25 for one eye and +0.5 for the other eye - and since I have had both pairs of glasses made according the latter prescription and they are perfect, it is obvious that Dr. Scott's prescription was completely wrong - My wife has +2.5 for each eye and in order to read with her glasses I must hold the book about 6 inches from my eyes!!

Cons: wrong diagnosis

I on the other hand waited 2 hours in the office waiting room, and the receptionist actually coded me as a no show. I do not plan to return.

I visited Dr. Taylor's office for the first time yesterday and was amazed. Very little time in the waiting room, current magazines, very sweet and thorough nurses, and same goes for Dr. Taylor!
