This business is completely unprofessional! My washer has been malfunctioning. The technician, Tim, came to do a diagnostic visit. He did not find a problem, but my washer was having the same problems after his visit.

I tried to call them back multiple times within the next couple of weeks in order to have Tim come back out and reevaluate my washer. The $60 I paid for the diagnostic visit was supposed to be applied to a future visit as long as it was within 30 days. I called and called, and they never returned my calls to schedule another appointment. So, they basically stole my $60 and my washer still does not work properly.

I tried to dispute the charge on my credit card, but somehow I still had to pay! I do not mind paying for good service, but I DO mind wasting my money and not having a fixed washer. And there is NO excuse for them being unprofessional and not returning my calls for appointments.

We contacted R.R and offer a refund or continued service without a charge. R.R never responded to our attempts. Customer was very difficult to reach for scheduling and for refund attempt.

My mom was out of town and my dad what we thought broke the Washer machine (Top loader!! ) I googled appliance repair checked the ratings.. And was confident with them all.. My dad was like im just going buy a washer.. I'm like dad no let's call somebody over first!! WE DID WE CALL THIS COMPANY FIX IT FIRST.. They came as scheduled .. Only thing was wrong with the washer was out of balance threw the tub ..he moved it over replace the door with part that fell off.. He charges 59.00 that's -alll Oppose to a 699.00 new washer.. BOY OH BOY DID THAT SAVE MY FAMILY SOME MONEY!!! Thanks GUYS YOU ROCK ... I recommend Them!! Gotta go and catch up on our Laundry!!! :)

Yesterday I called Sears who i have a warranty with to service my Window Air conditioner! They told me that they were going to have a representative to call me back. I waited over 2 hours still no call. I called them back and told them that it is extremely hot outside and that we have two small children here; and that we need service right away. They had somebody who couldn't speak good English call me back and they said that they can send someone out in two weeks. That was unacceptable. I went to Ultra food to buy something and as i was leaving I found a flyer from Fix it 1st appliance services on the wall; i gave them a called and told them about my urgent service request. They told me that they could have a technician out in my area between 3 to 5 pm. I said today! He said yes! The technician came just as they said: Even though when they came to fix my window air conditioner they found that my compressor was gone out; they still came right away same day and they were very nice and helpful. I will be calling them again

I had to tell this! I found some advertising for Fix it 1st in my mailbox. I tried them out; schedule an appointment for my dryer. Fix it 1st sent the nicest Tech(Jeff) I had ever experienced working with. Not only was he nice he was knowledgeable. When he fixed my Dryer Jeff gave my wife and I some helpful future tips. Awful company! My first bad review of a service company. I wouldn't use, FIX IT 1ST (Indiana/Homewood), or refer any business to them. What you think you will save in a service call you will pay for in slow service, the hyped up part charge and the unprofessional service!

My first appointment for a Washing Machine repair, was a no show. After the rep call me to apologize for the missed appt, I decided to give them a chance and allow them to come the next day. I should have took the missed appt, as a sign to run!

The "professional tech" came out and spent an hour. He spent more time looking up his papers on what to do than hands on dealing with the Washer, itself. Ive had this front load washer for 8years and over that time, never had a tech come out who didnt appear to be leave me thinking they didnt know what they were doing. What he did that day, I could have done. Anyway, when he left he said he found a sock in the rubber lining. He said the problem was diagnosed to be running properly. So giving him the benefit, I paid him the service call (a mere $39) and he left. Immediately, I ran a cycle only to have the same F 02 error code problem. I called back within an hour, explained machine still has same issue. The rep said the "manual" says the next step would be to order a part, which she would call me back with a price. NEVER HAPPENED. After I waited 3-4 business days, I decided to call back. By now, IM ANNOYED. She once again apologized, then gives me this "trumped up" price. I already think the service is "janky" by now and I feel the quote is unusally high, so I requested that she fax me the estimate, which she said she would. NEVER HAPPENED. Once again, after 3-4 days, I call back disgruntled that they keep leaving me hanging. So I call another company and I requested a refund from FIX IT 1ST. (IM NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF WASTING MONEY). A "MANAGER (Mr. Odom)" called me back and totally avoided the issue. From a business aspect, the entire company appears to be Unprofessional and lacks knowledge. From a personal aspect, they just seem shady! I hope the service fee was worth it to them to keep it because "company policy", seems to be DENY DENY DENY.

Live and Learn! When people show you who they are, believe the the 1st time. :)

Nevertheless, I called another technician, who promptly came out as scheduled, assessed the problem in 10mins and fixed it within 30mins of being in my home, replacing the drain pump. No problem showing me the estimate, the model # for the part. etc etc. No Trumped up charges. Just Great Warrantied Service! Go Sears Home Repair!
