I've been going to Skin Occasions for a few years and have never had a bad experience! The SO ladies are fantastic!

Very nice place! great service! the cleanser i bought worked very well and i'm going back for a treatment soon!

I was curious about the Novalash eyelash extensions and my search results on the internet lead me to Skin Occasions. Margie assured me I would be hooked and I am! She did a great job of applying the lashes in a way that looks natural, like I am just wearing mascara.

I've been there twice for a bikini wax and both times hve been exceptional. I was actually yawning during my last visit I was so relaxed! The place is clean and everyone is professional. Will definately keep going back.

I have had NovaLash extensions for about three years and I absolutely love them. My lash artist moved out of town and I needed to find a replacement. Unfortunely, the first place I tried damaged my lashes, then I found Skin Occasions and Margie.
Because of my damaging episode prior to coming here, I was extremely nervous. The minute I walked into Skin Occasions I immediately began to feel better, the organization and tasteful design aesthetic of the salon is very professional and calming.
Margie was able to see the damage on my lashes and was able to put me at ease and explained a clear course of action to restore my lashes. She is incredibly professional, explained every step she was taking and I felt at ease as soon as she began working on my lashes; everything felt familiar, and I was able to relax.
When I left after my appointment my lashes looked gorgeous and I know they will continue to look that way with Margie's skilled technique. I only wish I had found her sooner!

This was my first ever brazilian wax, and Amanda made me feel completely relaxed. The pain was much worse in my head when I imagined it than it actually was in reality!! It was uncomfortable at worst, and mildly painful, but nothing like I had imagined it would be!! Definitely nowhere near the pain levels of my tattoos! \r

The entry to the salon is a bit strange, and you need to know to walk straight back to the Skin Occasions suite number...the desk at the front entry is not a check-in/receptionist desk for the entire place like it looks. But, just go straight back to the suite #, and they will take great care of you! \r

I will definitely be recommending Amanda to my other cycling friends and recommend the Brazilian!! She was right, I will probably never go back to anything other than Brazilian after the first week of having it!! \r

Amanda was amazing. This was my first facial and she really made me feel like I was treated above and beyond.

I also purchased what she suggest for my skin. I love it and already in less than a week I see a difference.

Then I purchaed Glo minerals boy oh boy I love it!! Only if I would of knew about Skin Occasions years ago!!!!!!!! Before I left I made another apt in 3 weeks cant wait!

I went for a brazilian wax for the first time about 5 weeks ago. I was very nervous. Amanda made me feel very comfortable and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be pain wise because she's obviously a pro. I made my follow up appointment that same day. The second visit was no different. I've also made a future appointment for lashes because my experience with Skin Occasions has been so good.

I was recommended by a good friend for a full Brazilian waxing. Being it was my first time, I was very nervous.
Making an appointment was easy and two days later there I was! Amanda did such a great job and was very friendly making me feel very comfortable. She was very knowledgeable about the whole process. I will definitely be back to see her.

A friend told me about Skin Occasions when I saw her new lashes. I was still hesitant but Christin was able to schedule an appointment the same day I called and she reassured me that that I would be pleased. Julia was so calming and gentle ...the time flew and I've loved my new lashes. She also was helpful with eyeshadow to complete my new look!

I found Skin Occasions using Google and was hoping for a last minute appointment. Originally they were booked but an opening became available and they were able to fit me in the same day. This was my first experience with personal spa services and Amanda was so professional, extremely educational, very dedicated to ensuring that my experience was a good one. I've been to other spas for various services but this is by far the best exerience I've ever had. I have and will continue to go to Skin Occasions for all of my spa services and I'm very excited about my upcoming facial. :)

Margie did an amazing job on my make-up for my bridal pictures. I am SO glad I went to her. I originally wasn't planning on getting my make-up done for these pictures, but I am thrilled with my last minute decision. Every bride deserves to feel beautiful in her pictures and great make-up is the key! I immediately booked Margie for my wedding in July!

I had the best experience at Skin Occasions. I had always wanted to get a Brazillian wax but heard all the horror stories but Amanda put me at ease right away. The atomosphere was very relaxing & soothing. So looking forward to going back!

I had lash extensions done at a salon very far from where I live. I did some research to see where I could have them maintained closer to home and found Skin Occasions. I have been extremely happy! Julia does a wonderful job, even better than the original work, and the prices are better.

Today was my first day at Skin Occasions and I absolutely loved it! I went in for an eyebrow wax and Amanda talked me through it and told me when to take deep breaths. I am so excited for my next facial appointment at Skin Occasions.

The technician, Amanda, walks you through the waxing and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. She was very thoughtful and friendly. They followed up with me via text and voice mail to make sure that my experience was good.

Julie does a wonderful job at lash extensions! I love mine and couldn't go without! I highly recommend them.

They are an amazing group of ladies! I go monthly for eyebrow shaping & underarm waxing & always leave happy! I will never go anywhere else!

Skin Occasions in Kingwood, Tx is a beautiful, serene spa. I had the most incredible eyebrow shaping/waxing yesterday as well as arm waxing. I've been doing arm waxing for over 25 years. The esthetician Amanda was a pro. Additionally all the staff was professional and attentive. What a lovely way to end a hectic day I had.

Skin Occasions is the salon to go to for newbies and long-time salon visitors alike. The ambience is calming, artistic and modern. The girls there are amazing! It's very intimate and private. Margie is a very involved owner. She knows what she's talking about, and she and her girls follow through with above and beyond results.

I went for my first Brazilian Wax...so nervous. I expected the worst pain ever during the wax and anticipated breakouts and a lot of uncomfortable feelings for days after. NOT the case. Amanda was able to answer all my questions and make me feel at ease. Her technique was flawless...To my amazement and relief, I didn't feel a thing, and no breakouts or bruising. I have set up a follow-up appointment and have made them my go to salon.

Christin is the front desk girl, and is very knowledgable on all their products and services. I complimented her eyes, and she informed me she had eyelash extensions (didnt even know those existed!). She took the time to tell me about the process and benefits and showed me before and afters of other clients. I was sold. Julie applied them flawlessly. Very relaxing... I fell asleep for practically the whole time! They are affordable, so easy to maintain and save me so much time. I'll be going on a cruise soon and am excited that I wont have to worry about my mascara running while Im in the ocean or pool, and it's just one less thing I need to take up space and time. Plus my eyes look AWESOME!

I waited for a couple of weeks before writing my review to see how my lashes looked after having them a while...and I still love them. I was AMAZED and tickled to death when I got them done as I have NEVER had eyelashes! My girlfriends were amazed and my husband loved them too!!! It was so relaxing while having it done and Margie made me so comfortable, I actually fell asleep for a little while! I can't wait to go back this week and have them touched up!!!

Not only was the wax suprisingly less painful than I had thought it would be, I even found, and continue to find it (almost) relaxing! I attribute this to Margie's high level of knowledge and skills, which she has now passed on to Amanda, who is also wonderful.\r

I was so so sick and tired of putting on mascara every day as it always ended up clumping or didn't lengthen my lashes, and of course taking it off at night was not enjoyable either. I bought just about every brand of mascara out there & spend boat-loads of money, and NOTHING can come close to what I have now with my gorgeous, long & lovely, natural looking, eyelashes!!!!! \r
Marjie did my initial set, and I was in awe at how good they looked & felt..Not heavy at all and easy to care for.\r
I got several compliments on how natural they were, and it's so much fun when someone asks me what kind of mascara i use, and I say NONE, but then I elaborate about Skin Occasions & how wonderful they are! Julie, who is fairly new at Skin Occasions, maintains them for me now, and she is unbelievably EXCELLENT & very detailed in her work & so nice & sweet too...You will love her..These ladies are above & beyond what you are going to find anywhere out there in Houston, the Woodlands, etc. They also have a natural make-up line that I really like as well, so they know what they are doing when it comes to beautifying a female.. And one more thing about the eyelashes is that I purchased some of the Novalash conditioner pads for my lashes, and it keeps them looking healthy & in good shape & so good for your lashes..I cannot say enough good things about Marjie & her girls, except that y'all need to come on over to Skin Occasions & see how great it is! Christin will help you with your needs & your appointments, and she is very attentive.. Lastly, my eyelashes have been totally life-changing for me, and I LOVE them!

I have used skin occassions for waxing services. Margie is wonderful and very sweet. She has recently added new staff members. I have been working with Amanda and she is also very sweet and does a great job.

Margy provided a very knowledgeable discussion of what she was doing and why she was doing it. I received a Splash facial and found it very refreshing. My skin certainly felt much better!

I'm so excited about my new lashes from Skin Ocassions. After a couple of years of wearing the strips and individual lashes, I finally found a true less invassive procedures that is flawless. I've always had very short lashes and dreamed of the day I could find a product or procedures that would give me the look I've wanted for so many years. The staff was so amazing and made me feel very special. Christina explained the process and told me about the special offer, Margie the owner assured me I would be very pleased with the results, and Julie did a ""fabulous"" job on my lashes. My lashes were very fragile from the harsh glue that striped me of many lashes, but thanks to Skin Occasions I will never go back to those old ways. Julie did an amazing job on my makeup for the Mardi Gras ball I attened last month. I will be using Julie for future events as well.

She is amazing! She is the only person i have gone to for a wax and she did a great job! i will definitely not go anywhere else!

I have had many a Brazilian wax done before in the past at various salons. I kind of let it slide for a few years after I had my child and was finally ready now to get back into doing nice things for myself again.

We are fairly new to the Kingwood area and I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to waxing, salon cleanliness, etc. I came upon the Skin Occasions website while researching salons, and was very impressed by Margie's philosophy on how a proper waxing should be done- her no double dip policy (HUGE plus), wealth of information, and friendly tone to her website prompted me to make an appointment immediately.

When I walked in, the salon was extremely CLEAN, trendy, and tranquil. Margie and her staff were very friendly and attentive and really made me feel valued.

I have never been to anyone as knowledgeable as Margie about the Brazilian waxing process. She walked me through the procedure, I was totally comfortable, and there was no pain!!! I kept wondering when the ""bad"" part was going to happen, but it never did and she was done!!! It was without a doubt the best waxing experience that I have ever had.

I have finally found the place where I will get all of my waxing done and I could not be more thrilled- thank you Margie!!!

If you are at all interested in eyelash extensions ` you MUST try Margie. She is a pro! Just had my eyebrows done, too ~ best ever! No more of those ""other"" places for me! Jen is great too ~ keeps us scheduled and sends reminder notes! These two are a great team ~ try them and see what I mean!

Extremely effective skin treatments, amazing makeup application, wonderful products, and great service!!!!!

I first went to Margie for a bridal makeup trial and she did an amazing job! I went out that night after getting my make-up done and my friends could not stop staring at me and telling me how beautiful I looked. They were especially captivated by my eye make-up. I felt gorgeous that night! I can't wait to have her do my make-up on my wedding day!

Margie has also given me great advice on how to care for my skin and thanks to her my face has cleared up and I do not have any more problems with dry skin. The face wash that she recommend to me (Image balancing facial cleanser) and the Vital C hydrating enzyme masque that she recommend have helped tremendously!

In addition, I got a facial and a chemical peel done with Margie and I think that has also greatly contributed to my improved skin condition. I have had very few breakouts since this treatment!! Also, I was a little nervous about getting a facial and a chemical peel since I had never gotten anything like that done before, but Margie did a great job explaining to me what I should expect and how it would feel so that I did not feel anxious during the treatment. And it was actually a very relaxing and enjoyable experience- I would definitely recommend it!

After moving to the area 4 years ago, I still hadn??t found an esthetician that I loved. I was reluctant to to try any one new. A friend highly recommended Skin Occasions to me and I finally made myself an appointment with Margie. At first I just had my eye brows waxed. She did an amazing job! They looked like a movie star??s eyebrows right out of a magazine!!! I decided to make an appointment for a Brazilian wax. WOW- what a great experience! The product that she uses is amazing and hardly hurt at all. She made me feel so comfortable (even at 8 months pregnant!) I have only lived here for 5 yrs so it was very hard for me to find all the good girl stuff, you girls know what I'm talking about. My husband got me a Mothers Day Out certificate a few years back and I have been going to Margie ever since. I love everything about her new studio, new assistant (Jen) and mostly Margie herself. She always makes me feel comfortable and beautiful, every woman needs that. I don't want guys to think they could not use Margie's services too, cause I gotta tell ya she gives a great facial. I have been going to Margie for my eyelash extensions for over 2 years now and I can't imagine not having her to do them. I am always getting compliments on my eyelashes and how real they look. She does an awesome job and is respectful of my time by always being punctual. Now that she has hired 2 new associates, both are great and a welcomed new addition to the group!! I was just out of the Air Force and new to Kingwood; Interested in getting my first braz wax done, I researched on the web and found SKIN OCCASIONS and read the reviews. I decided to call and find out more info and Margie was very sweet and patient with my ""ten Million questions"" :). The experience was awesome, and definitely not what I expected it to be. Since then I've gotten every wax done through Skin Occasions!

Being prior military, i never EVER took care of my skin, and having her consultation on where to start. I started getting facials and doing my ""homework"" (as she says) by using Image skin care products she carries. I think my skin just glows and has been the healthiest that it's been in a very long time!

I recently got my lashes done and it definitely tops it all off! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE waking up, looking like i have my eye make up done and not have to apply any mascara.

I have had my lashes for over a year now. Last summer my son and I were in Cancun. We went on a race boat ride in the ocean. As we were flying through the water and water was hitting my face at 60 miles per hour plus the wind....the first thing that came to my mind was ""OH MY GOSH MY LASHES!"" I turned to my son in the middle of this joy ride asking him if they were flying off....he laughed at me and said only I would be worrying about that. Much to my surprise, they were still attached and looking as good as new. I knew then they were so worth the money.

It's great to be able to wake up each morning and just walk out the door. I totally recommend Margie. She is awesome!!!

Hands down, Margie is the best esthetician (and I've been to many) I have ever had. I was working overseas for almost 3 years and the weather was not kind to my skin! I am so THANKFUL that I found Margie. She did an AMAZING facial job of cleaning my skin and giving me great products and advise to maintain it. Acne breakouts and blemishes are a thing of the past for me and I love it! I wish I had a before and after photo because her skills and products greatly improved my skin texture and blemishes. Trust me, it was a rough road because I have oily and sensitive skin and I've tried numerous products like proactive (which did not work)! She's a great person to talk to, wonderful personality, and most of all she loves her job and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and ensures that the services she provides are top notch. Go to her, trust me you won't be disappointed:)
