We stayed here during Fleet Week - unbeknownest to us. The motel was clean but the room had a perfumy, cover up the stink smell to it. The bathroom was in need of a renovation and the water pressure was really bad. The location was very convenient for what we wanted to do. We would stay there again as the price was good.

Spent Labor Day weekend here, and the room was clean, the location was perfect. Far enough away from the craziness, but close enough to hop on a bus and be anywhere in the city. The guy at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. But I kept focusing on the cheap price. Their website says they have a basic breakfast...they only thing I saw was slice bread...but there are great places to eat very very close by!

Located in a pretty exciting area of San Francisco, Pacific Motor Inn will not kill your money, which is important if you're a tourist who is more interested in looking at the city's attractions than letting a hotel you will probably not stay long in rip you off. The customer service is nearly nonexistent, but when you're paying this little for an inn, you really can't expect much.

If you're looking for a bargain and want to focus more on being a tourist than being pampered in an expensive hotel, the Pacific Motor Inn is a good choice. It's located on busy Lombard street (so it may be noisy at night) close to many bus-lines. Of course, don't expect your accomodations to be exciting - this motor inn is a motel-quality place.
