The food here is inconsistent.

The 1st time I went here for breakfast, the food was decent and I like the food. The second time I went here for breakfast on Saturday, the food was old and stale and look like it was from last weekend breakfast.

I tried to pick through what I thought was decent appearance wise but many of the stuff was so old and stale that I take a couple of bites and left it on the plate and go get another plate to see if I can find something decent.

And the waitress was obnoxious. But I just ignored the waitress as I knew I was not going to come back to this place after this stale old food. But this waitress was not as obnoxious as the one in Cerritos that I did not even come back the 2nd time even though the food was decent and fresh.

It seems like the food at these Hometown Buffet franchises are inconsistent. As the one in Downey had so so food for awhile until last I went there and it was old and stale. I have not came back to the Hometown Buffet in Downey since that stale old food.

So don't come to this Hometown Buffet in Gardena unless you like stale old breakfast food. And when you go to all these Hometown Buffet, you pretty much are playing Russian Roulette as you don't know if your next visit will be stale old food.

For this specific Hometown Buffet, I would have to give it 1 stars.
