I have been seeing the same dentist since I was 4 years old so I was very scared to see someone new but Dr. Gillett was amazing! The office itself is pretty bad. The receptionists are a little less than friendly and the assistants are AWFUL! They were rude, loud, and just generally unprofessional! Thankfully the whole office redeemed itself when Dr. Gillett came in. He is so attentive and really cares about his patients. He was very honest with me and told me the procedures I needed to take care of and those that I could wait on so I wouldn't be out a ton of money. I also appreciated that he educated me about what he was doing and why so I never felt ""talked down to"" as some doctors tend to do. If you are ever in need of a dentist I HIGHLY recommend seeing Dr. Gillett.... and make sure you ask for him because I doubt it would be worth it if you were with someone else!

Pros: Dr. Gillett!!!

Cons: Receptionists and Assistants

Just like the earlier review, I too really dislike this Tracy person. I experienced her work as sloppy and her bedside manner as indifferent. I really felt that my teeth got worse, even though she examined and ""cleaned"" them. Her efforts were minimal. I got the suspicion that her poor work led to increased dental bills and needing more procedures. Scam? I'm not sure, but I decided to put my money and time somewhere else.

This is my first online review of any entity, ever. Was it not for Tracy (a hygienist), I'd give 4 stars on this first visit. Dr Gillette and staff were all warm, considerate, efficient, and really put me at ease. I was relieved to be having such a fine time. This made Tracy's behavior especially jarring and unexpected. Was I warned, I would know that ""exam"" involves inserting sharp metal between gum and tooth to take a measurement. Most people are naturally uncomfortable in a dentist's chair, and it's difficult to resist the flinch reflex sudden tooth pain elicits. No problem. But I wasn't warned and so the instant sharp pain came as a surprise. I asked her (in good humor) to wait a second, what she would be doing. From there it went downhill. She lost her temper with that innocent and politely-delivered question! Instead of pulling back a little, she kept aggressively stabbing away as if the building was on fire, irritated. She was in a frantic hurry, but it was clearly not for my benefit. A couple of times she even threw up her hands and took off her mask, as if I was absolutely intolerable, rudely said ""we have to stop, I can't do this!"" She remained aggressive, inconsiderate, super-rushed -- even accusatory! If she was having a bad day, and had just said so, I would have understood. From what I could tell, though, her abrasive personality was congenital.\r\nI'm always an accommodating patient/ patron -- I know that the more helpful I am, the better the experience for BOTH me and the provider. I've always just informed whoever's working me of my sensitive spots so they know where to be more cautious. For god's sake, that never offended anyone. I've seen a Dentist virtually annually since I grew teeth. I've never had congeniality met with such unprompted hostility and unprofessionalism.

Pros: The rest of the staff is wonderful.

Cons: Tracy may remain employed there.
